From the starting point on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playa-de-es-grau\/\">beach of Es Grau<\/a> it is possible to see the Illa d&#8217;en Colom only 1.5km away, so it is almost impossible to get lost or disoriented.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From Es Grau, you have <strong>to paddle with the kayak for about 20 minutes until you reach the first beach of Illa d&#8217;en Colom<\/strong>: Cala Tamarells (do not confuse Cala Tamarells -in the Illa d&#8217;en Colom- with Cala Tamarells Nord, and Cala <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-tamarells-sud\/\">Tamarells Sud,<\/a> which are on the island of Menorca)<\/li>\n<li>From Cala Tamarells there is about<strong> 5 minutes by Kayak to the next beach<\/strong> of Illa d&#8217;en Colom: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/arenal-den-moro\/\"><strong>Arenal d&#8217;en Moro<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Once you have reached Arenal d&#8217;en Moro you have 2 options<\/strong> before returning to Es Grau:  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You can <strong>stay on the beach<\/strong> sunbathing and snorkeling for a while. You can also take an excursion to the interior of the island, although the roads are not maintained.<\/li>\n<li>If you feel like doing some more kayaking and you have a minimum of 2 hours of daylight left, you can opt to<strong> return to the coast of Menorca and tour the beaches of Tamarells Nord and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-tamarells-sud\/\">Tamarells Sud<\/a><\/strong>, including a visit to the base of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/sa-torreta-cala-rambles\/\">Torre de Rambla<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tour_Facts\"><\/span>Tour Facts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Departure point:<\/strong>Es Grau<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kayaking distance<\/strong>: 8.7 km (round trip). If you only go to illa d&#8217;en Colom, it is 3km in total.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total time<\/strong>: 3h (round trip). If you only go to the Illa d&#8217;en Colom, it&#8217;s 1h in total.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Points of Interest<\/strong>: Unspoiled beaches of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/arenal-den-moro\/\">Arenal den Moro<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-tamarells-sud\/\">Tamarells<\/a>. Rambla Tower<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Get_to_the_Departure_Point_Es_Grau\"><\/span>How to Get to the Departure Point (Es Grau)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  To get to Es Grau beach you can take<strong> bus 23 from Ma\u00f3 bus station<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>To arrive by car<\/strong> you must arrive first to Ma\u00f3.<br \/>\nFrom Ma\u00f3 you have to take the Me-7 road and turn off to the Me-5 towards Es Grau.  It is very well signposted from Ma\u00f3, so it is difficult to get lost. To go <strong>from Ma\u00f3 to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playa-de-es-grau\/\">Es Grau<\/a> by car is 10km and takes about 15 minutes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>You can also <strong>go by Bike to the beach,<\/strong>especially if you want to make some stretch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/es-grau-far-favaritx-bike-btt-stage-2-cami-de-cavalls\/\">Cam\u00ed de Cavalls <\/a>from Es Grau.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Transfer_to_Illa_den_Colom_by_boat_%E2%80%93_25E\"><\/span>Transfer to Illa d&#8217;en Colom by boat &#8211; 25\u20ac.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  If you feel like visiting the Illa d&#8217;en Colom, and you don&#8217;t dare to kayak, you can pay for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.civitatis.com\/es\/menorca\/lancha-isla-colom-es-grau?aid=1944&amp;cmp=kayak-colom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">boat transfer to the beaches of the Illa d&#8217;en Colom<\/a>.<br \/>\nThe boat leaves from Es Grau 6 times a day from June to September (9.30 \/ 10.30 \/ 11.30 \/ 12.30 \/ 13.30 \/ 14.30) <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.civitatis.com\/es\/menorca\/lancha-isla-colom-es-grau?aid=1944&amp;cmp=kayak-colom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">boat will take you to the island in about 25 minutes<\/a>, and then you will have 3-4 hours to enjoy the beaches (although I personally prefer to go by kayak).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.civitatis.com\/es\/menorca\/lancha-isla-colom-es-grau?aid=1944&amp;cmp=kayak-colom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Transfer by boat to Illa d&#8217;en Colom (<\/a> 25\u20ac &#8211;
