It is a sandy beach actually formed by two beaches (Tamarells des Sud I and Tamarells des Sud II). Both beaches are facing east and quite protected by the Illa d&#8217;en Colom island. The Cam\u00ed d&#8217;en Kane is slower (30-50km\/h) but very nice.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When you arrive in Es Grau, there is a <strong>fairly large free car park<\/strong> (you will see it on the right hand side), and another very small car park just 20 meters later on the left.<\/li>\n<li><strong>From the es Grau car park,<\/strong>go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playa-de-es-grau\/\">beach of Es Grau,<\/a>go along the beach to the other end and then take the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls towards Fav\u00e0ritx.<\/li>\n<li>Once in the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls you will pass <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-en-vidrier-beach\/\">long Cala Vidrier<\/a> and after about <strong>20 minutes walking<\/strong> you will reach Cala Tamarells Sud.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Once_There%E2%80%A6\"><\/span>Once There&#8230;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_7382\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7382\" style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Torre-de-Rambla-Tamarells.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-7382\" src=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Torre-de-Rambla-Tamarells-450x600.jpg\" alt=\"Rambla Tower - Tamarells\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Torre-de-Rambla-Tamarells-450x600.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Torre-de-Rambla-Tamarells-154x205.jpg 154w, https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Torre-de-Rambla-Tamarells-768x1025.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Torre-de-Rambla-Tamarells-300x400.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Torre-de-Rambla-Tamarells-800x1067.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Torre-de-Rambla-Tamarells-scaled.jpg 1919w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7382\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rambla Tower &#8211; Tamarells<\/figcaption><\/figure>  Cala Tamarells des Sud is a <strong>virgin beach of difficult access and has no services<\/strong> of any kind <strong>.<\/strong>  Some of the activities you can do from here are:  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Snorkeling<\/strong>: very good area, especially if you go under the Rambla Tower, with shallow rocks and a lot of fauna.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visit to the Tower of Rambla<\/strong>: Coastal defense tower built between 1799 and 1802. It is very deteriorated and has a high risk of landslides, so it&#8217;s best not to get in and watch it from the outside. Anyway, it <strong>is possible to climb up the interior,<\/strong> since the wooden staircase used by the soldiers to go to the terrace is no longer there.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visit to the Punta de Sa Pastera<\/strong>: The Punta de Sa Pastera is a kind of suspension bridge (much simpler than the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/pont-den-gil\/\">Pont den Gil<\/a>), which is located 1km from Tamarells.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kayaking (if you have arrived by kayak)<\/strong>: Congratulations! Kayaking is one of the best ways to get there.
