Son Bou is <strong>8 km from the center of Alaior,<\/strong>and just behind the beach there is the urbanization of Son Bou, one of the largest in Menorca. In addition to the free parking on the beach, <strong>there are free parking spots throughout the urbanization,<\/strong> so in the worst case you will have to walk about 10 minutes to reach the beach. A peculiarity of this beach is that you can only access the sand by one end of the beach. This means that <strong>if you walk a bit to the end of the beach you can find areas with less people<\/strong> (most people stay at the beginning of the beach).  <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hiking_from_Son_Bou\"><\/span>Hiking from Son Bou<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>If you are a fan of hiking you are in luck,<\/strong>because Son Bou is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cami-de-cavalls\/\">official path of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls.<\/a> If you walk along the beach towards Santo Tom\u00e1s (looking at the sea, to the right) you can reach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/thalis\/\">the small beach of Talis,<\/a>separated only by a small wall of dry <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/paret-seca-walls\/\">wall<\/a> from the beach of Son Bou. If you continue walking you can reach Santo Tom\u00e1s.  <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Chiringuitos_Beach_Bars_in_Son_Bou\"><\/span>Chiringuitos (Beach Bars) in Son Bou<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>If your like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/the-9-best-beach-bars\/\">beach bars<\/a> you&#8217;re also lucky<\/strong>. In Son Bou you can find<strong> 3 beach bars right at the beach:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Ses Garces<\/li>\n<li>Ses Grulles<\/li>\n<li>Es Corb Mar\u00ed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Son_Bou_with_Family\"><\/span>Son Bou with Family<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>  Son Bou is<br \/>\n<strong>very good option for families with small children for<\/strong> several reasons:   <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>It is very easy to get there<\/strong> by car and park near the beach: if you go with children who can get tired fast you will not have problems.<\/li>\n<li><strong>the water has little depth and the beach is very large<\/strong>: children can play in many areas of the shore. Remember that there are more than 2km of beach!<\/li>\n<li><strong>There are many services<\/strong>: Being in a very touristic area, you have beach bars where you can buy water, shops where you can
