class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Route\"><\/span>The Route<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  Section 12 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls allows you to enjoy a <strong>very pleasant walk with almost no elevation gain<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIt is one of the flattest stretches of the whole Cam\u00ed de Cavalls, with <strong>only 122 meters of<\/strong> accumulated <strong>positive elevation gain<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe first 2km are on asphalt through the urbanization of Son Xoriguer.<br \/>\nAfter passing the urbanization and the beach of Son Xoriguer, the route is almost entirely <strong>on rocky terrain with several<\/strong> very small <strong>coves<\/strong> along the coast, until you reach the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/son-saura\/\">beaches of Son Saura<\/a>. <strong>From Son Saura the terrain enters a wooded area<\/strong> with some wild olive and pine trees that will give you some shade and respite if you have decided to walk in summer.<br \/>\nFrom the route you can see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/unspoilt-beaches-south-menorca\/\"><strong>watchtower Talaia de Artrutx<\/strong><\/a>from the 17th Artrutx to Turqueta<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>This section of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls is very rocky and with some sections with quite sharp rocks<\/strong>.<br \/>\nI have had punctures on more than one occasion, so I recommend carrying a spare tube or anti-puncture systems.   <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_to_the_Start_of_the_Tour_Cape_Artrutx\"><\/span>How to get to the Start of the Tour (Cape Artrutx)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"By_car\"><\/span>By car<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>You can arrive by car at either end of the route<\/strong>, and park for free (although in summer it is almost impossible to park in Son Saura unless you go very early -8am- or very late -7pm-). You can <strong>save the 2km asphalt section<\/strong> of the route by parking as close as possible to the beach of Son Xoriguer and starting to walk directly from the beach.  <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"By_Bus\"><\/span>By Bus<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>  You can take the<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/menorca.tib.org\/es\/autobus\/linia\/65\">bus
