vacations.<br \/>\nFortunately for everyone <strong>Ciutadella has a rich and varied gastronomic offer<\/strong> that satisfies the appetite of all the public and all the pockets.<br \/>\nI am often asked for good places to dine out in Ciutadella, so here is <strong>my list of<\/strong> <strong>the best restaurants in Ciutadella, <\/strong>there are 20 restaurants in total <strong>. <\/strong>   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I have ordered the best restaurants in Ciutadella according to <strong>my opinion<\/strong> taking into account the <strong>quality-price ratio and giving a score from 0 to 10.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I have assigned an <strong>average price per person<\/strong> for dinner, without expensive wine or seafood (lobster, shrimp, prawns, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do, or even more!<br \/>\nDo not be guided by the prices I indicate unless you see them extremely expensive, the price depends on what each one orders at the end.<br \/>\nAvoid wine and desserts and you will see how the bill goes down, then you can <a title=\"Party in Ciutadella\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/party-in-ciutadella\/\">go out for drinks<\/a> ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/you-can-travel-to-menorca-in-2021-by-covid-restrictions-updated\/\">COVID restrictions<\/a> permitting&#8230;)!    <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Restaurant Sant Ignasi by Smoix<\/strong> (10\/10) &#8211; 40\u20ac: Smoix on Ronda Balears street (they have changed premises in 2024).<br \/>\nSmoix has moved from the center of Ciutadella to the beautiful rural hotel Sant Ignasi.<br \/>\nThe staff is always excellent and the quality of the dishes is excellent.<br \/>\nIn 2016 they changed location in Ciutadella and in 2018 they reopened the terrace.<br \/>\nIn 2024 they changed location again. <strong>My favorite restaurant<\/strong> <strong>without a doubt<\/strong>, where it is difficult to choose a dish that is not surprising and delicious.    <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.awin1.com\/cread.php?awinmid=11081&amp;awinaffid=764853&amp;clickref=restaurantes-ciutadella&amp;ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eltenedor.es%2Frestaurante%2Fcafe-balear-r445433\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Balearic Coffee<\/strong><\/a> (10\/10) &#8211; 40\u20ac: With Bar Trit\u00f3n, the two classics of the port.<strong> The quality of the product is very high and therefore has a price<\/strong>.<br \/>\nReservations are not allowed on the terrace.<br \/>\nIn August, if you arrive after 21.00 you will wait 1 hour for sure.<br \/>\nThe waiters go with trays in hand and quite fast along the promenade.<br \/>\nThe interior is more formal than the terrace, the tablecloth is made of thread and you can see more fish and seafood.    <\/li>\n<li><strong>Es Tast de Na Silvia (<\/strong> 9.5\/10) &#8211; 35\u20ac: <b>Slow food and Km 0<\/b> cuisine <b>.<\/b> With special attention to the product and service.<br \/>\nSuper personalized and friendly service.<br \/>\nThe lunch menu is worth it.<br \/>\nCongratulations to the chef Silvia!   <\/li>\n<li><strong>Pinzell<\/strong>: (9\/10) &#8211; 40\u20ac: Located in the beautiful Pla\u00e7a dels Pins, you can eat tapas, rice dishes, fish and quality meats.<br \/>\nI have yet to try their desserts, but the food is delicious. <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.awin1.com\/cread.php?awinmid=11081&amp;awinaffid=764853&amp;clickref=restaurantes-ciutadella&amp;ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eltenedor.es%2Frestaurante%2Fs-amarador-r61719\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>S&#8217;Amarador<\/strong><\/a> (9\/10) &#8211; 45\u20ac: Arrived in the port of Ciutadella a few years ago. <strong>For very special occasions<\/strong>, unless you are someone very important and need to be seen in places like this.<br \/>\nIf you go only once, ask for the upper terrace with views; if not, wait for another day.<br \/>\n&#8220;Figues d&#8217;un altre paner&#8221; they say.  <\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Cas Consol\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cas-consol\/\"><strong>Cas C\u00f2nsol <\/strong><\/a>(8\/10) &#8211; 35\u20ac: In es Born<strong> and with spectacular views of the Port of Ciutadella<\/strong>.<br \/>\nAt night it is well worth it if you dine on the upper terrace overlooking the harbor entrance. <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.awin1.com\/cread.php?awinmid=11081&amp;awinaffid=764853&amp;clickref=restaurantes-ciutadella&amp;ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eltenedor.es%2Frestaurante%2Fmorvedra-nou-r392595\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Hotel Rural Morvedra Nou<\/strong><\/a> (8\/10) &#8211; 35\u20ac: Another rural hotel where to dine with a different touch.<br \/>\nNo noise, no children, no complications. <strong>Only for those looking for maximum relaxation and quality food<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIf you drink do not drive, the road back is criminal.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Hostal Sa Premsa <\/strong>(8\/10) &#8211; 25\u20ac: At the end of Paseo Nicol\u00e1s.<br \/>\nA midday lunch on the terrace or <strong>an unpretentious dinner<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIt overlooks the new port of Ciutadella and is somewhat removed from both the center and the hustle and bustle.<br \/>\nTo go for tapas it has a very good quality-price ratio.<br \/>\nIn addition it is quite easy to park very close to the place.<br \/>\nIf the wind blows from south be prepared and wrap up well.     <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cuk-cuk-gastronomic-experiences\/\"><strong>Cuk-Cuk Gastronomic Experiences<\/strong><\/a>: (8\/10) &#8211; 9 a 36\u20ac: In the <strong>old town of Ciutadella<\/strong>, a cozy place where <strong>Elena and Alex teach you how to cook typical Menorcan dishes and then you can eat them in their<\/strong> garden <strong>terrace<\/strong>.<br \/>\nCaldereta de Langosta, Paellas or Fideu\u00e1, you choose the dish, you cook it and then you eat it.<br \/>\nHighly recommended!<br \/>\nAlways book in advance, it only seats 12 people and in summer it is always full.   <\/li>\n<li><strong>Hogar del Pollo<\/strong>: (8\/10) &#8211; 20\u20ac: Near Cas Marino the classic Hogar del Pollo. <strong>Forget the glamour and order lac\u00f3n con grelos and you will repeat<\/strong>.<br \/>\nDine out if you can in summer and you can enjoy watching everyone strolling around. <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.awin1.com\/cread.php?awinmid=11081&amp;awinaffid=764853&amp;clickref=restaurantes-ciutadella&amp;ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eltenedor.es%2Frestaurante%2Fpizzeria-roma-r480843\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Pizzeria Roma<\/strong><\/a> (8\/10) &#8211; 25\u20ac: Very close to Es Born. <strong>More than just pizzas, good pasta<\/strong>.<br \/>\nFrom the same owners of Balear, which is already a fact to take into account.<br \/>\nToo bad there are no more tables on the street.  <\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Grill Es Caliu\" href=\"https:\/\/www.awin1.com\/cread.php?awinmid=11081&amp;awinaffid=764853&amp;clickref=restaurantes-ciutadella&amp;ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eltenedor.es%2Frestaurante%2Fgrill-es-caliu-r24814\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Grill Es Caliu<\/strong><\/a> (8\/10) &#8211; 30\u20ac : 4 km from Ciutadella before reaching Cala Blanca.<br \/>\nGrilled meats; a single dish<strong>(a pepper steak if you are carnivorous<\/strong>) is enough if you are not a glutton. <\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Triton Bar\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/triton-bar\/\"><strong>Triton Bar <\/strong><\/a>(8\/10) &#8211; 30\u20ac: <strong>The one of all the life with the Balearic in the port of Ciutadella<\/strong>. <strong>You have to go if you can<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIf you are lucky and can go in January, then the octopus is spectacular.<br \/>\nNo reservations, you queue up for a batch if you want to dine outside to enjoy the views of the port.<br \/>\nThe best pilotes with tomato I have ever tasted (meatballs), you will see people lining up at 5 in the morning to buy a &#8220;pilotes sandwich&#8221;.<br \/>\nThey hardly ever close.    <\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Cas Marino\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/restaurant-curniola-35\/\"><strong>Curniola 35<\/strong><\/a> (8\/10) &#8211; 30\u20ac: In the center of Ciutadella. <strong>Small and cozy place in a house from 1845<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThey make tapas and dishes of Menorcan and Mediterranean cuisine very elaborated.<br \/>\nHomemade desserts and very good.<br \/>\nThe terrace is cool but it is very small, if you feel crowded near the other tables it is better to go inside.   <\/li>\n<li><strong>Ses Voltes <\/strong>(8\/10) &#8211; 25\u20ac : Where its name indicates (in Ses Voltes). <strong>For tapas or fast food while watching a soccer match in the lounge<\/strong> after a bike ride.<br \/>\nFor dinner I prefer the terrace on the second floor, which is very nice, and where the menu is different. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Restaurants Removed from the Ranking<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Rels Restaurant <\/strong>(closed in 2023) (9\/10) &#8211; 35\u20ac: Restaurant opened in 2016 where Smoix used to be.<br \/>\nMenu 18 \u20ac weekdays and weekend 28 \u20ac.<br \/>\nThey cook only with natural foods and everything is prepared by them, <strong>really spectacular, <\/strong>more dishes than tapas.  <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.awin1.com\/cread.php?awinmid=11081&amp;awinaffid=764853&amp;clickref=restaurantes-ciutadella&amp;ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eltenedor.es%2Frestaurante%2Fmandimandi-r284131\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>MandiMandi<\/strong><\/a> (closed in 2020) (7.5\/10) &#8211; 15\u20ac: This <strong>cozy Italian restaurant<\/strong> has moved to Ciutadella from Barcelona.<br \/>\nThe best things about this 2015 newcomer are <strong>the views of Ciutadella&#8217;s harbor and city wall<\/strong> and its typical dishes from the small Italian region of Friuli.<br \/>\nThe 10\u20ac lunch menu is really good.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>La Payesa<\/strong>: Another of the classic restaurants of the port of Ciutadella. <strong>The best thing is the service, let yourself be advised<\/strong>, but do not ask for anything sophisticated; with the rice broth you already have plenty.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ses Truqueries (closed)<\/strong>: for me the best restaurant for its location and its dinners on the outdoor terrace, a pity they closed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cas Marino (closed)<\/strong>: Near the market.<br \/>\nSmall (tiny) and cozy place, where booking is very difficult.<br \/>\nThe best Galician octopus, mussels, omelette, squid.<br \/>\nSimple but very good, as it should be.<br \/>\nThe Estrella?<br \/>\nGalician of course.<br \/>\nBefore 2013 it was in the first place but I have received complaints about the service and its excessive slowness in serving.      <\/li>\n<li><strong>Pizzeria Oristano (closed)<\/strong>: Near the tower d&#8217;Artrutx and <strong>3 minutes walk from the cocktail bars of Es Pla.<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you want to go faster ask for it to the biker who brings it to you at home without problems.<br \/>\nIdeal for young people and groups of friends, pizza and party.<br \/>\nIn 2015 they had a problem in social networks and right now it is not clear that they will open in 2016.   <\/li>\n<li><strong>Rac\u00f3 des Palau (to be updated)<\/strong>: (7\/10) -15\u20ac : <strong>Good pizzas<\/strong> near the Cathedral of Ciutadella.<\/li>\n<li><strong>La Cayena <\/strong>(temporarily closed): (7.5\/10) &#8211; 25\u20ac: Between Contramurada and Ciutadella Market.<br \/>\nVegetables, woks and similar for those who suffer from cholesterol.<br \/>\nIt is a place more typical of a city than of a &#8220;village&#8221; like Ciutadella.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Cas Ferrer (closed) (<\/strong> 8\/10) &#8211; 30\u20ac: Dines very well if you are patient.<br \/>\nOn the way to Cala Blanca you can buy vegetables from the owner&#8217;s family. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Cab\u00f2ria (closed)<\/strong> (10\/10) &#8211; 40\u20ac: Cab\u00f2ria Restaurant opened in 2021 and offers signature cuisine with local products.<br \/>\nThe service is excellent and the setting, inside an old house in the old town, is very nice. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Nopales (closed) (<\/strong> 8\/10) &#8211; 20\u20ac: Opened in 2019 (closed in 2023) by the same owners of Smoix.<br \/>\nThis is a very very good Mexican food restaurant at reasonable prices.<br \/>\nVery good option for a quick bite to eat.<br \/>\nTry their micheladas!<br \/>\n(In 2020 they still don&#8217;t accept credit cards)    <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  If you want to call here you have the <a title=\"Ciutadella Restaurants telephone numbers\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/interest-phone\/restaurants-from-ciutadella\/\">phone numbers of some of the restaurants in
