the coast and the interior by bike<\/a> and even on horseback. <strong>The excursions on foot and by bike are free<\/strong> and suitable for everyone.<br \/>\nAll you have to do is put on your sports have 20 itineraries to discover the 185 kilometers of Menorca&#8217;s coastline at your own pace and without any restrictions other than those imposed by your physical condition.<br \/>\nIf you are an experienced hiker and in good shape you can <a title=\"Tour Menorca on foot along Cam\u00ed de Cavalls in 7 days\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/menorca-tour-on-foot-cavalls-cammie-7-days\/\">walk around Menorca in 7 days<\/a>, but if not you can also do any of its sections in a few hours. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>These are some of the excursions on foot that you can do (<strong>the times are calculated counting ROUND TRIP and RETURN<\/strong>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ol>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Savinar de Mongofra\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/savinar-de-mongofra\/\">Excursion to Savinar de Mongofra<\/a> (8km, 2 hours)<\/strong>: Excursion to reach a beautiful beach with stretches both along the coast and inland.<br \/>\nIf it&#8217;s sunny, be prepared and bring plenty of water, as the terrain is rough. <\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Excursion: from Ciutadella to Cala en Brut by Bicycle\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/trip-from-ciutadella-to-cala-en-brut-by-bicycle\/\">Excursion from Ciutadella to Cala en Brut<\/a> (10km, 2.5 hours)<\/strong>: &#8220;Excursion&#8221; along the promenade of Sa Farola ideal for all ages both on foot and by bike.<br \/>\nWide sidewalks, paved bike path in two directions, viewpoints and benches, it has it all.<br \/>\nIf you get tired before reaching Cala en Brut you can always stay in Cala en Blanes, although it is worth it to get to the end!  <\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Section (<\/a> 17km, 6 hours)<\/strong>: Another beautiful stage of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls through a sparsely populated area and ending at a lighthouse.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/?p=21686\">Section 6 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls &#8211; Binimel-l\u00e0 to Els Alocs<\/a> (18Km, 6 hours)<\/strong>: Section 6 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls runs about 9 km of trail between the beaches of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/percent-c2-percent\/\">Binimel-la<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-pilar\/\">Cala Pilar<\/a>.<br \/>\nStarting from the beach of Binimel-l\u00e0 and passing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cove-pregondo-salairo-sembarkat\/\">Cala Pregond\u00f3<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-pregonda\/\">Cala Pregonda<\/a> and Cala Barril and Cala Calderer you will reach Cala Pilar at the end and enjoy spectacular scenery throughout the entire stage. <\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-pilar-to-algaiarens-stage-7-del-cami-de-cavalls-on-foot-or-by-bike\/\">Section 7 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls &#8211; Cala Pilar to Algaiarens <\/a> &#8211; (18Km, 6 hours)<\/strong>: The route between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-pilar\/\">Cala Pilar<\/a> i <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playas-de-algaiarens-la-vall\/\">Algaiarens<\/a> can be done both on foot and by bike.<br \/>\nIt is an especially easy section for cycling, especially from Macar d&#8217;Alfurinet onwards.  One of the problems of this stage is that Cala Pilar is only well connected by car. Therefore you will need somebody to bring you at Cala Pilar and pick you up at Algaiarens. Otherwise you would have to make the way back and forth the same day (and spend 6 hours if you go walking).<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/algaiarens-a-cala-morell-stretch-8-del-cami-de-cavalls\/\">Section 8 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls &#8211; Algaiarens to Cala Morell (<\/a> 8Km, 4 hours)<\/strong>: The route from Cala Morell to Algaiarens is a little-traveled route of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls, although it is possible to find Menorcans walking the path from the Ses Fontanelles jetty.<br \/>\nThe route can be done both on foot (easy) and by <em>mountain bike<\/em> (difficult), although there are some parts of the road with many rocks that make it more complicated by bike, and the ascent and descent to Ses Fontanelles will make you get off the bike if you are not a machine. <\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-morell-a-punta-nati-stretch-9-del-cami-de-cavalls-on-foot-or-by-bike\/\">Section 9 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls &#8211; Cala Morell to Punta Nati<\/a> (15Km, 5 hours)<\/strong>: The route between Cala Morell and Punta Nati is another of my favorites of the north coast.<br \/>\nHaving the origin in Cala Morell you can always make a visit to the magnificent Necropolis of Cala Morell before starting the path of about 7km.<br \/>\nThis route of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls passes through terrain very punished by the Tramontana wind, the rocky landscape with hardly any tall vegetation is a constant.<br \/>\nOn sunny summer days and without shade options this route can become a quite hard but rewarding experience.   <\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Section 10 Cam\u00ed de Cavalls\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/calespiques-to-punta-nati-stage-10-of-cami-de-cavalls\/\">Section 10 Cam\u00ed de Cavalls &#8211; Calespiques to Punta Nati<\/a> (10.5km, 4.5 hours)<\/strong>: Beautiful hike along the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls in a totally deserted area.<br \/>\nIf you go in summer bring water and be prepared to suffer the sun and the north wind.<br \/>\nIf you go at sunset you can see the sunset at the Punta Nati lighthouse, but then you have to come back at night!  <\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Cala Galdana to Santo Tom\u00e1s - Stage 14 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls by bike\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-galdana-to-santo-tomas-stage-14-of-cami-de-cavalls\/\">Section 14 Cam\u00ed de Cavalls &#8211; Galdana to Santo Tom\u00e1s (<\/a> 20km, 7 hours)<\/strong>: Typical hike along the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls between two very touristic areas.<br \/>\nIf you do the round trip it is very tiring as it is 20km, but you can always take a bus or ask someone to pick you up. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"9_Alternative_Short_Excursions\"><\/span>9 Alternative Short Excursions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_7123\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7123\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Cala-Pilar.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-7123\" src=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Cala-Pilar-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"Cala Pilar\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Cala-Pilar-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Cala-Pilar-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7123\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pilar Cove<\/figcaption><\/figure>  Not everything is Cam\u00ed de Cavalls in Menorca.<br \/>\nThere are excursions a bit more inland and others in which you can reach beautiful beaches, caves or castles.<br \/>\nThese are some of the possibilities:    <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/lluriach-venta-directa-queso-artesano-de-menorca\/\">Excursion on foot or by bike to Can Lluriach<\/a> (3 km, 45 min)<\/strong>: On the Cam\u00ed de Tramuntana you can enter the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/lluriach-venta-directa-queso-artesano-de-menorca\/\">Finca Lluriach<\/a> and buy artisan cheeses and local products of high quality. <strong>I recommend doing the route by bike rather than on foot<\/strong>, especially if you go in the summer months.<br \/>\nDuring the summer a lot of cars circulate along this road, as it is the access road to the famous beaches of the north of Es Mercadal<a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-pregonda\/\">(Pregonda<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playa-de-cavalleria\/\">Cavalleria<\/a>, etc.). <\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/de-galdana-a-macarelleta-routa-de-los-miradores-de-5-km\/\">Route of the viewpoints of Galdana to Macarella<\/a> (5 Km, 1h 20 min)<\/strong>: This route is easy and very busy throughout the year. <strong>In July and August it is very busy<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Pont d'en Gil - Cala Corbetar\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/pont-den-gil\/\">Excursion to the Pont den Gil<\/a><\/strong> <strong>(0,5 Km, 10 min)<\/strong>: The Pont den Gil is a natural bridge suspended over the sea that can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes.<br \/>\nIt is a very easy excursion to do on foot, and you have plenty of restaurants and leisure activities in the urbanization of Los Delfines. <\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Excursion to the Barranc d'Algendar ravine\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/excursion-al-barranc-dalgendar\/\">Excursion to Barranc d&#8217;Algendar (<\/a> 8 Km, 3 hours)<\/strong>: Excursion for all ages to the interior of Menorca.<br \/>\nIdeal for days with little sun. <\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Cova des Coloms\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cova-des-coloms\/\">Excursion to the Cova des Coloms<\/a><\/strong> <strong>(4 Km, 1 hour)<\/strong>: Excursion very fun and with the possibility of getting lost in the interior paths.<br \/>\nThe views of the cave are spectacular.<br \/>\nIf you go from Es Migjorn to the Cova and back, it will take you only 1 hour to go and return, but if you decide to visit the beach of Binigaus instead of 4km of route it will be 8km and it will take you twice as long to go and return (2 hours).  <\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Savinar de Mongofra\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/savinar-de-mongofra\/\">Excursion to the Castell de Santa \u00c0gueda (<\/a> 3 Km, 1 hour)<\/strong>: Very easy excursion to go to see the Castell de Santa \u00c0gueda.<br \/>\nThe scenery is beautiful and suitable for the whole family, and also when you get up there are great views. <\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Escorxada Cove\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-escorxada\/\">Excursion to Cala Escorxada (<\/a> 8 Km, 2.5 hours)<\/strong>: Spectacular views during the hike to a very remote cove.<br \/>\nThe path is quite hard and you should wear sports shoes to avoid sprains and injuries due to the stone cliffs.<br \/>\nDon&#8217;t forget the water!<br \/>\nIf you get tired, you can return with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/taximar\/\">Taximar<\/a>.   <\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Cala Trebal\u00fager\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-trebaluger\/\">Excursion to Cala Trebal\u00fager<\/a><\/strong> <strong>(3 Km, 1 hour)<\/strong>: A simple excursion to reach a beach quite different from the rest, with a small stream that flows into the shore.<br \/>\nThe path is simple but wooded, and has quite a few shady stretches so although it is hot in summer, it is not as stifling as the north coast. <\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"Cala Pilar\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-pilar\/\">Excursion to Cala Pilar (<\/a> 5 Km, 1,5 hours):<\/strong> Very entertaining excursion with some stretches of forest where it doesn&#8217;t feel like you are so close to the coast.<br \/>\nBefore reaching the beach there are very good views from an elevated position.<br \/>\nBring plenty of water because the sun is especially tiring before reaching the beach.  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" visit to Menorca<\/strong> I recommend these:  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/es-grau-far-favaritx-bike-btt-stage-2-cami-de-cavalls\/\">Section 2 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls (difficult)<\/a>: It can be done on foot and by bike without problems.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/de-galdana-a-macarelleta-routa-de-los-miradores-de-5-km\/\">Route from the viewpoints of Galdana to Macarella (easy)<\/a>: It is better on foot than by
