The best thing about this route is the contrast between the beginning and the middle and end sections. At the beginning of the route you will pass by the magnificent beaches of Cala Mitjana and Cala Mitjaneta, where you can contemplate the beauty of the coast of Menorca. Once you leave the beach behind, the route passes through inland forests where you can forget that you are on an island, with a variety of fauna and vegetation.  <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tour_Facts\"><\/span>Tour Facts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distance<\/strong>: 2.93 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Walking time<\/strong>: 1h 30min<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cycling time<\/strong>: 30min<\/li>\n<li><strong>Beaches of interest<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playa-de-santo-tomas\/\">Santo Tom\u00e1s<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/thalis\/\">Talis<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/son-bou-beach\/\">Son Bou<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_to_the_beginning_or_end_of_the_Route\"><\/span>How to get to the beginning or end of the Route<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  You can start the route at any of the two points.<br \/>\n<strong>The buses that communicate the starting and ending points<\/strong> are the <a title=\"bus 72\" href=\"https:\/\/menorca.tib.org\/portal\/web\/cime\/autobus\/linia\/72\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">72<\/a> to travel between Ferreries and Santo Tom\u00e1s.<br \/>\nTo move between Ferreries and Cala Galdana you can take the bus line <a title=\"bus 51\" href=\"https:\/\/menorca.tib.org\/portal\/web\/cime\/autobus\/linia\/51\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">51<\/a>, <a title=\"bus 52\" href=\"https:\/\/menorca.tib.org\/portal\/web\/cime\/autobus\/linia\/52\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">52<\/a> or <a title=\"bus 53\" href=\"https:\/\/menorca.tib.org\/portal\/web\/cime\/autobus\/linia\/53\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">53.<\/a> <strong>If you have someone to take you by car or motorcycle<\/strong>, to go to Cala Galdana:    <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>From Ciutadella<\/strong> you have to take the main road to Ma\u00f3 and in the roundabout just before reaching Ferreries, follow the signs towards Cala Galdana, it has no loss.<\/li>\n<li><strong>From Ma\u00f3<\/strong> you have to take the main road to Ciutadella, and just after passing Ferreries, at the roundabout, follow the signs towards Cala Galdana.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  Once in Cala Galdana you have to look for the beginning of the section east of the beach, on a road very close to the viewpoint of Cala Galdana. You can see it in the detailed map.  <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Circular_Route\"><\/span>Circular Route<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>The best way to do this circular route is simply to go back the way you came<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIt is only 3km and you are back at the starting point, and it will probably take you less time than trying to return by bus, as there is no direct line and they also go around the interior of Menorca quite a lot.<br \/>\nIf for some reason you want to return by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/public-transport\/\">public transport<\/a>, you can take the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmsa.es\/Linea.aspx?lin=632&amp;sen=1&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">32 from Son Bou to Alaior<\/a>, and then the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmsa.es\/Linea.aspx?lin=671&amp;sen=1&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">71
