along the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIn <strong>August 2014<\/strong> I decided to <strong>go around Menorca by mountain bike along the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls.<\/strong><br \/>\nFor this I used <strong>a cheap Rockrider bike from Decathlon<\/strong> that was more than 10 years old, and a light backpack of 20 liters approx.    <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In this adventure I was fortunate to have logistical support by road (they came to pick me up in some stages), but I could have done the same without any support and with much more suffering and dedicating a little more possible to go around Menorca by the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/strong>: <strong>The answer is yes<\/strong>, but <strong>it is extremely difficult<\/strong>, and if you don&#8217;t have road support it is even more difficult.<br \/>\nThe truth is that it is a not very grateful route to do by bike, and I only recommend to do it completely if you consider it as a personal challenge.   <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It is much better to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/menorca-tour-on-foot-cavalls-cammie-7-days\/\">walk<\/a> than to cycle, and unless you are a very good cyclist it will take you about the same time.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Minimum_Material_to_do_the_Cami_de_Cavalls_Bike_Tour\"><\/span>Minimum Material to do the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls Bike Tour<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_24526\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24526\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/20140805_085904-scaled.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-24526 size-large\" id=\"caption-attachment-24526\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Old Rockrider bike<\/figcaption><\/figure>  My approach is minimalist: the less weight you carry the less you will suffer, but you will be more at risk in case of bad weather conditions.<br \/>\nIf you carry too many clothes and accessories the weight will be too high and you&#8217;ll suffer much more in <em>bike-loaded<\/em> sections.   <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Mountain Bike<\/strong>: The lighter the better, as there will be long stretches where you will be carried on your back.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2 spare inner tubes<\/strong>: It is very easy to suffer 1 or 2 punctures.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Light thermal blanket<\/strong>: In case you have serious problems and for sleeping while bivouacking.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Water<\/strong>: Minimum 2-3 liters per stage<\/li>\n<li><strong>Windbreaker<\/strong>: Basic if it is windy and to avoid getting cold some bivouac nights.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Map<\/strong>: It is essential to carry a map to avoid problems.<br \/>\nIt is better if it is paper and laminated. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cautions_Do_Not_Attempt_Without_Reading_This_First\"><\/span>Cautions: Do Not Attempt Without Reading This First<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  For the return to Menorca I chose the month of August for convenience:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is the month with <strong>the highest number of tourists on the island<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>All <strong>hotels and bars are open<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>There are <strong>many hours of daylight during the day<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>At night it is not so cold<\/strong> and <strong>it<\/strong> is possible to bivouac (but <strong>the<\/strong> <strong>humidity is VERY high<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  Surely it is much better to choose the spring months like May or June, and of course <strong>it is better not to bivouac and try to spend every night under cover in a hotel<\/strong>. <strong>It is important to be in good physical shape to cycle around Menorca<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIf you are not used to do bike tours of at least 30 km, or if you do not do some sport at least 3 or 4 times a week, it is better not to try it.   <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>There are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cycling\/\">affordable cyclotourism stages more stage are conservative<\/strong>: I made the return slowly, considering that I went all the way around the island and that the August heat at noon is suffocating and dangerous.<br \/>\nI stopped frequently to take photos, drink water and rest.<br \/>\nIn any case, the times in this article are perfectly acceptable, and <strong>if you are competitive you can go much faster<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe <strong>km distance of the stages<\/strong> I calculated later using a very rudimentary GPS that I carried during the return.<br \/>\nThe <b>cumulative elevation gain was also calculated later with the GPS<\/b> and I got &#8220;only 1.355m&#8221;, which is not bad for an island <em>with no elevation gain<\/em>.      <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Although <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cami-de-cavalls\/\">the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls is officially 185km<\/a>, my total came out to 167 km.<br \/>\nI guess I skipped some parts between the shortcuts and the road support. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stage_1_From_Cala_en_Blanes_to_Cala_Tirant_August_5th\"><\/span>Stage 1: From Cala en Blanes to Cala Tirant (August 5th)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7407\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7407\" style=\"width: 1440px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-en-blanes\/\">Cala en Blanes<\/a> follow the GR223 signs painted on the lampposts (red and white) in the direction of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/hippodrome-de-torre-del-ram\/\">racecourse<\/a>.<br \/>\nAt the end you reach the beginning of the section <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/pont-den-gil\/\">towards Pont den Gil<\/a>. <strong>In case you want to skip the first piece of rocks:<\/strong> Instead of starting the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls you can go to the Hippodrome and at the end of the road there is a fence that leads to the water treatment plant: In principle it is open (the gate has a padlock).<br \/>\nBefore reaching the water treatment plant you will see on the right the small path that is the continuation of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls from the Pont den Gil; it is on your left.<br \/>\nThe disadvantage of the shortcut is that you will not be able to see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/pont-den-gil\/\">magnificent Pont den Gil<\/a>. <strong>You follow the path to the base of Sa Falconera:<\/strong> Although the first part of the climb can perhaps be done by bike, the last part is impossible if you are not a professional.<br \/>\nAnyway, I did it all with my bike on my back.<br \/>\nOnce you get to the top, just follow the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls without getting lost.<br \/>\nIt is a <strong>very rough section<\/strong>, with <strong>many rocks<\/strong>, and the ascents and descents, although in principle not very steep, are impracticable. <strong>Walking without a bike you go faster<\/strong>. <strong>There is no water all the way<\/strong>, and few places to shelter from the sun.       If you want <strong>you can swim in S&#8217;Amarador<\/strong>, although the descent is not easy. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I came across several people running <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/trail-menorca-cami-de-cavalls\/\">trail runners<\/a>), they<\/em> were going faster than me <em>.<\/em> <strong>I have never seen a cyclist in this area<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> At the end you reach the exit of the section.<br \/>\nOn your left is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/lighthouse-point-nati\/\">the Punta Nati lighthouse<\/a>; on the other side is the continuation of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls towards <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-morell\/\">Cala Morell<\/a>.<br \/>\nAt this point you have an exit; taking the road to Ciutadella to the right, with a bike lane.    <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_Punta_Nati_to_Cala_Morell\"><\/span>From Punta Nati to Cala Morell<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7121\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7121\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Cala-Morell-desde-Cam%C3%AD-de-Cavalls.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7121 size-large\" somewhat better than the previous section, flatter, but also <strong>with many rocks<\/strong>, so <strong>any fall is dangerous<\/strong>.<br \/>\nI did not find anyone. <strong>At 10.30 I arrive at Cala Morell<\/strong>; when leaving the Cam\u00ed down, you pass the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/necropolis-of-cala-morell\/\">caves of the Necropolis of Cala Morell<\/a> and go up.<br \/>\nAt this point there is <strong>another exit<\/strong>; you could take the road to Ciutadella.<br \/>\nIt is less dangerous than the main road from Ciutadella to Ma\u00f3, but <strong>in summer a lot of cars pass by<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIn Cala Morell, being very urbanized, <strong>you can always find a place to have a drink and buy water<\/strong> and food <strong>.<\/strong><br \/>\nI stopped for breakfast in the bar of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/es\/apartamentos-sa-cala.es.html?aid=328487;label=cdc-btt;sid=38bffa97e388ce773e5b8459f72ec3a2;dest_id=900048073;dest_type=city;dist=0;group_adults=2;group_children=0;hapos=1;hpos=1;no_rooms=1;room1=A%2CA;sb_price_type=total;sr_order=popularity;srepoch=1589355461;srpvid=597e35a2391600ef;type=total;ucfs=1hotelTmpl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">the apartments of Sa Cala<\/a>, with swimming pool but without showers. <strong>To sleep in Cala Morell<\/strong> there are only apartments and it is very difficult to rent for a day. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/es\/agroturismo-biniatram.es.html?aid=328487&amp;label=turural\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">I recommend the Hotel Rural Biniatram<\/a><\/strong>1 Km in the direction of Ciutadella on the left.<br \/>\nThen you can always go back towards Cala Morell to continue along the Cam\u00ed.<br \/>\nAlternatively, you can ask the owners of the hotel to let you pass through the farm and you can reach the codolar de Biniatram (there are several paths between different farms, you have to follow in an easterly direction towards the sea).<br \/>\nHere you are back on the Cam\u00ed (jumping over a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/paret-seca-walls\/\">dry wall<\/a>).          <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Review_of_Accommodation_in_Biniatram\"><\/span>Review of Accommodation in Biniatram<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_2012\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2012\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/hotel-rural-biniatram.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2012 size-large\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playas-de-algaiarens-la-vall\/\">the Vall<\/a>; as long as you have a car or bike.<br \/>\nIf they refurbished the bathrooms a bit, it would be a higher category, but then I guess they would charge you more.    <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>garden and pool are very well maintained<\/strong>; the latter is one of the best in similar places.<br \/>\nThe <strong>family atmosphere<\/strong> is noticeable. <\/li>\n<li>I was shown the apartments on the first floor and they <strong>are really worth it if you go with family.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To continue along the Cam\u00ed from Cala Morell<\/strong> you have to go up to the end of the urbanization, at the last traffic circle to the left, and then to the right at the next traffic circle, already near the cliff.<br \/>\nYou will find the signs for the stretch from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-morell\/\">Cala Morell<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playas-de-algaiarens-la-vall\/\">Algaiarens<\/a>.   <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_Cala_Morell_to_La_Vall\"><\/span>From Cala Morell to La Vall<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6839\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6839\" and descent to Ses <\/strong><b>Fontanelles<\/b> I did on foot.<br \/>\nAt the <strong>jetty you have possible shelter<\/strong>, and it&#8217;s a pretty good place to sleep if you don&#8217;t like the sand (and the extreme humidity of the beach at night). <strong>If you find someone watering the garden you can ask for water<\/strong>.<br \/>\nTheoretically in this cove they will make an exclusive platform for the guests of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/es\/can-faustino.es.html?aid=328487;label=cdc-btt;sid=0595a4218b9cf16f09d91ae26e37b5d9;dest_id=-378237;dest_type=city;dist=0;from_beach_non_key_ufi_sr=1;group_adults=2;group_children=0;hapos=1;hpos=1;no_rooms=1;room1=A%2CA;sb_price_type=total;sr_order=popularity;srepoch=1589110369;srpvid=b0fb5130f0f90015;type=total;ucfs=1hotelTmpl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">luxury hotel Can Faustino<\/a>, so maybe in the future there will be some kind of service.<br \/>\nContinue along the Cam\u00ed and you will arrive at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playas-de-algaiarens-la-vall\/\">Algaiarens<\/a> parking.<br \/>\nThere are <strong>public toilets<\/strong>, but water only if you ask someone for it (in summer it is crowded). <strong>Again you have an exit<\/strong>; you could take the road to Ciutadella, with a quite hard asphalted ascent, and about three kilometers from the parking to the crossroads of Cala Morell.<br \/>\nThen about 7 km to Ciutadella.<br \/>\nIf you cross the parking you will find the indication of the stretch to Cala el Pilar.          <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_La_Vall_to_Els_Alocs\"><\/span>From La Vall to Els Alocs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5821\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5821\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a 12.15.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>For my taste, <strong>the stretch from Algaiarens to Alfurinet is the best of the north coast<\/strong> to do it by bike.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> It is a very pleasant ride, <strong>quite flat<\/strong>, with some perfectly manageable climbs, although I did some of them on foot so you get less dehydrated.<br \/>\n<strong>You can find some cisterns and <em>regs<\/em> with water,<\/strong> although <strong>I&#8217;m not sure if it is drinkable<\/strong> (I imagine that animals drink it), it is very good to refresh yourself.<br \/>\nYou will find several <strong>places with trees to take shelter from the sun<\/strong> and rest, or even sleep. <strong>I only met a few people walking from the parking lot to the beach of Es Bot.<\/strong><br \/>\nOn the rest of the way to the Macar d&#8217;Alfurinet nobody, although other years I have come across some cyclists.<br \/>\nAs I said, for me this is the best stretch for bikes.       <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_Macar_dAlfurinet_to_El_Pilar\"><\/span>From Macar d&#8217;Alfurinet to El Pilar<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6642\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6642\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Cala-Pilar-desde-el-Aire.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-6642\" with salt water is more difficult.<br \/>\nTo your left is <strong>sa Muntanya Mala, with a height of 200 meters and very good views<\/strong>. <strong>From Alfurinet to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-pilar\/\">Cala Pilar<\/a><\/strong> a <strong>quite important and very hard climb<\/strong>, with wooden steps, and that<strong> can not be done by bike<\/strong>.<br \/>\nWe appreciate the rest area under the trees, in the oak grove of Felip, with benches and a fountain; take advantage of it, you will not find more water until Binimel-l\u00e0.<br \/>\nThe cove is on your left with a good view from above. <strong>At 13.35 I arrive at the rest area El Pilar in the Encinar de Felip:<\/strong><strong>Here you have a possible exit:<\/strong> in fact I met two people who were doing the tour around Menorca like me, but in the opposite direction.<br \/>\nThey told me that everyone recommended them not to do the Binimel-l\u00e0 Pilar section, because it was up and down cliffs, and you couldn&#8217;t carry your bike on your back.<br \/>\nThey had gone from Binimel-l\u00e0 to Mercadal, then to Ferreries and had taken the general road to the Pilar detour to resume the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>They were partly right (see below), but I&#8217;d rather die dehydrated than run over, so I continued along the Cam\u00ed towards Els Alocs.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>In case you decide not to continue<\/strong>, the descent from the Felip holm oak grove to the parking is quick by bike (those who walk up take more than half an hour) and then you have a stretch of asphalted road to the main road.<br \/>\nHere on the left is Ferreries at about 5 km and Ciutadella on the right at 11 km.<br \/>\nIt is a very dangerous road, because there is hardly any hard shoulder and there are long straights where cars and buses go fast; from my point of view a very dangerous stretch.         <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Another alternative to go to Ferreries<\/strong>, is to go towards Ciutadella, and take on the left the road to Torrellafuda or Torretrencada to go out to the old road from Ciutadella to Ferreries crossing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/excursion-al-barranc-dalgendar\/\">ravine of Algendar.<\/a> The first detour is closer (about 2 km), but you have to know the way because you will have to cross a farmhouse.<br \/>\nThe second one through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/torretrencada-village\/\">Torretrencada<\/a> (about 3.5km) is easy to follow. <\/li>\n<li><b>There is also a detour by a private road before Torrellafuda<\/b>, but the gate is closed.<br \/>\nIn any case, crossing the road is very reckless in my opinion. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Once you arrive in Ferreries<\/strong>, continue towards the village (do not go through the tunnel), past the Wimpy (a good place to recharge your batteries), at the next traffic circle turn left towards <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/es\/ca-na-xini.es.html?aid=328487;label=cdc.btt;sid=0595a4218b9cf16f09d91ae26e37b5d9;dest_id=900048234;dest_type=city;dist=0;from_beach_non_key_ufi_sr=1;group_adults=2;group_children=0;hapos=1;hpos=1;no_rooms=1;room1=A%2CA;sb_price_type=total;sr_order=popularity;srepoch=1589190122;srpvid=f8d14435f27c00e1;type=total;ucfs=1hotelTmpl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Ca Na Xini<\/a> (a good hotel) and go up.<br \/>\nAt the end of the climb go down the dirt road, passing through some farmhouses, and you will reach the roads to the northern beaches where you can head towards Binimel-l\u00e0. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>14.00 I leave from the rest area of the holm oak forest to Els Alocs<\/strong>.<br \/>\nYou go down towards <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-pilar\/\">Cala el Pilar<\/a> and then continue the Cam\u00ed to the right.<br \/>\n<strong>There are<\/strong> <strong>many rocks and you do it with the bike on your back<\/strong>.    <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_Els_Alocs_to_Cala_Tirant\"><\/span>From Els Alocs to Cala Tirant<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>I start at 14.30 from Els Alocs.<\/strong>  In the hut near the beach I meet 3 people drinking whiskey before the meal.<br \/>\nThey give me mineral water that they only use for cooking.<br \/>\nI ask them about the way to Binimel-l\u00e0; one of them tells me that it is very hard, especially up to Cala Calderer.    <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>That you have to be <em>very brave<\/em> to do it and that <strong>even if I give him a thousand euros he won&#8217;t go with me<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThey wish me luck. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Here is another exit point:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you continue in the opposite direction to the sea you will reach the parking lot.<br \/>\nFrom there you could take the camino dels Alocs back to the main road.<br \/>\nPray before crossing to go left to Ferreries.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>I arrived at Cala Calderer at 4.30 pm<\/strong>. <strong>It is a very hard stretch<\/strong>; in full sun you have to go up and down the cliffs with the bike on your back. <strong>If you don&#8217;t have enough water<\/strong> (at least two liters) <strong>don&#8217;t even think of doing it<\/strong>.<br \/>\nHalfway up there is an old building, which can serve as a shelter.<br \/>\nArriving at Cala Calderer you find a hut.<br \/>\nWhen I passed there were some Menorcans eating; they offered me food and water.<br \/>\nThey told me that I had already done the hardest part and that if I went a little fast, I could reach Fornells in a couple of hours.<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t think they had ever done the Cam\u00ed by bike.<br \/>\nOn the other side of the cove there is a house; that is,<strong> at this point you have another exit<\/strong>, although I&#8217;m afraid they are private roads. <strong>The route to Cala Barril<\/strong> is almost as complicated as to Calderer, but it is shorter. <strong>Once in Cala Barril<\/strong> the way to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-pregonda\/\">Cala Pregonda<\/a> is easy; especially considering where you come from.<br \/>\nFrom Pregonda to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/percent-c2-percent\/\">Binimel-l\u00e0<\/a> just five minutes.         <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Cala Calderer and Cala Barril are good places to sleep assuming you have water and food.<br \/>\nIf you sleep in Pregonda or Binimel-l\u00e0, you can have a drink before at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/the-9-best-beach-bars\/\">Binimel-l\u00e0 beach bar<\/a> if you don&#8217;t arrive too late. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>From Binimel-l\u00e0 <\/b>you have an exit along the road to the northern beaches, either to Mercadal or Fornells.<br \/>\n<strong>I arrived at Binimel-l\u00e0 at 17.45.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" Mica<\/a> the road is quite difficult<\/strong>, then it is relatively flat until I reach Cavalleria.<br \/>\n<strong>I cross the beach of Cavalleria with the bike until I reach the stairs on the other side<\/strong>.<br \/>\nAfter the effort of crossing the beach, climbing the stairs is very hard.    <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I imagine that they saw my suffering face because a person took my bike up to the top.<br \/>\nI imagine there must be some shortcut to avoid the beach, because horses obviously can&#8217;t get through here. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>  Once you reach the parking of Cavalleria you have to go left along the road towards the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/lighthouse-of-cavalleria\/\">spectacular lighthouse of Cavalleria<\/a>, and you will find the beginning of the new section on the right, right next to the Roman settlement. <strong>Up to Cala Tirant the road is quite good<\/strong>, but with some difficult climbs, especially near Cala Tirant, which is very hard.<br \/>\nI was passed by a person running; he arrived before me. <strong>In the little cove before reaching Cala Tirant you have a possible place to sleep<\/strong>, as there is a jetty with a thatched roof. <strong>When you get to Cala Tirant<\/strong> you have to cross the beach in a moment.<br \/>\nI instead headed to the right, leaving the cove behind, to the road, turning then towards Fornells and then taking the detour back to Tirant.<br \/>\nA U of about 8 km. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I had a well-earned cold beer and something to eat at Bar Okapi in the urbanization of Cala Tirant,<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>then slept on the beach of Cala Tirant.<\/strong><br \/>\nAlthough it is summer the sand is very wet.<br \/>\nI used a light thermal blanket as a mattress and slept on it.<br \/>\nIn August it is not very cold.<br \/>\nYou have to take into account that it is the only beach close by, so I shared it with young people drinking. you want to save the story told of the adventures of those who come on a spree, it is cheaper to stop at the bakery in the adjacent street. <strong>In Cala Tirant and Fornells you have all services<\/strong>, including hotels and restaurants. <strong>I left Fornells at 8.20.<\/strong><br \/>\nYou take the road to Es Mercadal (there is a section of bike path) and at the traffic circle take the left turn to Son Parc\/Addaia.<br \/>\nWatch out because about 400 meters to the left you have the entrance to a farm where the section of the Cam\u00ed begins.     <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Be careful, you have to cross the road, and it is downhill.<br \/>\nThe road to Son Parc is very easy.<br \/>\nI came across two cyclists going in the opposite direction.  <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><span a.m.<\/strong><strong>When you leave the Cam\u00ed if you go left towards the beach you will find a beach bar.<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the back there are toilets and, more importantly, <strong>showers.<\/strong><br \/>\nAlthough they have a door I have always found them open.<br \/>\nSon Parc is also very urbanized with all kinds of services. Here you have two alternatives;     <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You can cross Son Parc beach and climb the stairs<\/strong> on the other side, passing by another beach bar (not a bad place to eat; I had a juice and rested a bit).<br \/>\nIt is smoother than crossing Cavalleria. <\/li>\n<li><strong>You can exit the parking lot in the opposite direction to<\/strong> the beach and head towards the other side.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To take the Cam\u00ed you have to go in a northerly direction<\/strong>, towards the sea, passing the forest park.<br \/>\nThe entrance is on the street of the cliffs, about 450 meters to the left.<br \/>\nThe Cam\u00ed runs along the side of the cliff; you can ride a bike but it is very rocky, dehydrating you a little in each boat.<br \/>\nI met several people walking along it. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I left for Arenal den Castell at 10.00 and reached the Arenal in 30<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>minutesOnce at Arenal den Castell<\/strong>, follow the painted signs.<br \/>\nWhen you leave the Cam\u00ed, you go left in the opposite direction.<br \/>\nAt the end you will find a last descent down to sea level. <strong>Go down<\/strong>, then you will have to climb a lot of stairs, passing a bar and a supermarket.       <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>An alternative is to continue in the opposite direction to the right instead of taking the descent:<\/strong> you will arrive at the same place without climbing stairs<strong>.<\/strong> <\/li>\n<li>Once at the top, continue along the paved road, on the left if you have climbed the stairs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About 2 km further on, once you leave the beach behind<\/strong>, the signs will take you to the left, turning around to avoid sharing the road with cars.<br \/>\nBut to the right is uphill, in case you don&#8217;t have enough, so I recommend that you don&#8217;t follow the signs and go straight on where the cars go.   <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It is a short stretch until <strong>the turning to the left to Addaia<\/strong>, just two kilometers ahead.<br \/>\nOnce you take the detour you reach Addaia in a few minutes. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>I arrive at Addaia at 11.00.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_Addaia_to_Favaritx\"><\/span>From Addaia to Fav\u00e0ritx<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p> In <strong>Addaia<\/strong> you don&#8217;t have to go to the pass; go straight on and at the traffic circle go to the right following the signs to get to the beginning of the Cam\u00ed itself.<br \/>\n<strong>The stretch up to Pou den Caldes is one of the best in the north for cycling<\/strong> (except La Vall-Alfurinet), especially when you pass through the area of the salt pans.<br \/>\nThen you have a couple of ramps with wooden steps.     <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The descent to the Pou den Caldes is hard, and then the climb for me is impossible.<br \/>\nHere I saw a cyclist (a very good one) who did both the ascent and the descent on the bike, although in the opposite direction (coming from Fav\u00e0ritx). <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>I tried to find an alternative path to the ascent from Pou den Caldes<\/strong>, but I got lost and ended up crossing farms (even with no trespassing signs).<br \/>\nTo avoid problems I went back to the Cam\u00ed, although a bit further back from where I was.<br \/>\nThe scary climb turned out to be not so scary (after Cala Calderer nothing seems hard).<br \/>\nAt the top there is a hut in very bad condition that only serves as a shelter if it rains (get under the lintel just in case).<br \/>\n<strong>Then the path is relatively easy<\/strong> and fast, downhill, until you reach <strong>the road to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/favaritx-lighthouse\/\">Faro de Fav\u00e0ritx lighthouse.<\/a><\/strong>     <figure id=\"attachment_15513\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15513\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/Faro-de-Favaritx-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15513 size-large\" urbanization of Son Parc: 30 years of Granada experience.<br \/>\nIn the afternoon I restarted the Cam\u00ed from the Fav\u00e0ritx lighthouse, leaving at 16.30. <figure id=\"attachment_23751\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23751\" style=\"width: 2560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/rural-hotels-in-menorca\/\">other rural hotels<\/a>.<br \/>\nThere are only two rooms, the tower itself, and an apartment where I was.<br \/>\nIt has a fridge and is very cozy. <strong>If you want tranquility this is the place<\/strong>.<br \/>\nI think they will eventually expand.         <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_Sa_Torreta_to_Sa_Mesquida\"><\/span>From Sa Torreta to Sa Mesquida<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>  In the morning, after a good breakfast, <strong>I left at 12.30 in the direction of Cala Sa Mesquida<\/strong>.<br \/>\nFrom Sa Torre Blanca we went down to Sa Torreta and took the Cam\u00ed to the right. <strong>It is not very difficult<\/strong>, although you always find steep slopes, where <strong>if you are not very good, it is better to get off the bike if the sun presses.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The arrival to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playa-de-es-grau\/\">Es Grau<\/a> is flat.<br \/>\nAt the end, you have a stretch of road of about 750 m, which is dangerous. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Keep an eye out for the sign and cross to the left to rejoin the Cam\u00ed.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Then up to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/sa-mesquida-beach\/\">Sa Mesquida<\/a> similar to before, with some climbs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We arrive at Sa Mesquida at 14.00<\/strong>, but we stop half an hour to <strong>change a flat tire.<\/strong> In Sa Mesquida we had a good paella with my family on the terrace of Cap Roig, a good restaurant with excellent views.  <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"My_opinion_of_Cap_Roig_Restaurant\"><\/span>My opinion of Cap Roig Cam\u00ed is by road.<\/strong> It is better to do it as fast as possible because it is a bit dangerous.<br \/>\n<strong>There are quite a few changes of gradient and the cars go fast<\/strong>.<br \/>\nAt the beginning it climbs a bit (and more after the paella), and then you have a gentle descent to the port of Ma\u00f3.<br \/>\n<strong>I arrived in Ma\u00f3 in 10 minutes<\/strong>.     <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_Mao_to_Es_Castell\"><\/span>From Ma\u00f3 to Es Castell<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>The Cam\u00ed continues through the port of Ma\u00f3<\/strong> on the right side looking towards the sea, to climb at the end to the town center to take the road to Es Castell.  <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I instead made the climb along the Ronda de Ma\u00f3 (and I&#8217;ve seen the port dozens of times), which leads to the main road, then turn left and head to the city center along the Avinguda de Josep Maria Quadrado to the Pla\u00e7a de S&#8217;Esplanada.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>  You continue towards the port and in 100 meters you turn right towards Es Castell.<br \/>\nIf you have gone through the port of Ma\u00f3, when you go up to the town center you follow the Cam\u00ed signs, towards Es Castell.<br \/>\n<strong>Previously I called the Hotel del Almirante Collingwood House<\/strong>, and they had a single room: I cool off.<br \/>\n<strong>The restaurant has a very acceptable menu and the staff is friendly<\/strong>.      <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" Ma\u00f3 (I had road support \ud83d\ude42 ), at the restaurant Santa Rita in Pla\u00e7a Basti\u00f3.<br \/>\nIt was a great discovery in Ma\u00f3.<br \/>\nThe food is different, with elaborate tapas to Punta Prima<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>I left the hotel at 9.00 am.<\/strong> After breakfast at the hotel I left at 9.00 following the road.<br \/>\nYou pass the <strong>Es Castell<\/strong> detour <strong>until you reach Cala Sant Esteve<\/strong>. <strong> You go down to Cala Sant Esteve<\/strong>, cross it and then you have a climb that is impossible by bike.<br \/>\nWhen I got to the top I met an Italian on a bike.<br \/>\nI asked him if he would go down and he told me he would not.<br \/>\nHe showed me a scar on his shoulder from a fall he had in a similar place (not in Menorca) and since then he is more careful. <strong>You continue along the Cam\u00ed leaving Fort Marlborough<\/strong> and the sea on your left.<br \/>\nThen you have 1 Km flat but quite <em>bumpy<\/em>. <strong>At the height of the pylon 69 go straight on<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThere is a very easy section, one of the easiest so far.<br \/>\nAt pylon 053 (be careful, when I passed #3 it was erased) you will see on your left a wall with a small opening; the bikes only pass vertically.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s worth it because if you cross it and go down through the forest you will see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-rafalet-beach\/\">Cala Rafalet,<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>on the esplanade before you get to Rafalet you could sleep, although there will probably be others who have thought of the same thing; when I passed there were three people with sleeping bags.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_15308\" the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/the-9-best-beach-bars\/\">historic chiringuito Xuroy<\/a>, now with rooms too.<br \/>\nThe Cam\u00ed continues on the other side of Cala Alcaufar.            <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Then it is a very easy<\/strong> <em>bumpy<\/em><strong>ride<\/strong> back to Punta Prima.<\/li>\n<li><strong>It is very urbanized<\/strong> so you find all the services, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>I arrived a little before 11.00 and rested for a while drinking water and juice<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_Punta_Prima_to_Cala_en_Porter\"><\/span>From Punta Prima to Cala en Porter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>I leave Punta Prima at 11.30 am.<\/strong>  You have to go up towards Torre Son Ganxo, with a short stretch along the seashore until you find the exit to the road.<br \/>\nThen you turn left; the first stretch indicated is in the opposite direction (there are some other short stretches of the Cam\u00ed where the same thing happens), so be careful.   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <strong> You arrive by road to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/binibeca-binibequer-vell\/\">Binib\u00e8quer Vell<\/a><\/strong>; although it is a nice village to take pictures, it is full of tourists; better to pass by.<\/li>\n<li><b>El Cam\u00ed continues past the bus parking<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li> <strong> I arrived at 12.00 at Binib\u00e8quer Vell<\/strong>, and I rested a little taking fruit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-binisafuller\/\">Binisaf\u00faller<\/a>.<br \/>\nWhen you come out, follow the asphalt road to your left (Avenida Platja Binisaf\u00faller) for about 500 meters and you will find the <strong>Cam\u00ed turnoff to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-en-porter\/\">Cala en Porter<\/a><\/strong> on your right. <strong>I took the detour to Cala en Porter at 13.00.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The first piece is easy<\/strong>, with a few boats.<\/li>\n<li>When you pass some houses at <b>pylon 127 do not go right<\/b> on the narrow road; you must turn left.<\/li>\n<li>Further on you come out onto a tarmac road to the left, and after 1.7 km you reach <strong>the urbanization Mar Menorca<\/strong>.<br \/>\nInside there is a swimming pool with access only for clients&#8230; <\/li>\n<li>You continue straight through the urbanization on the main street (ignore the prohibition sign).<\/li>\n<li><strong>You go down to es Canutells<\/strong>, cross the cove, and then the climb is difficult (again on foot).<br \/>\nThen the stretch is easy but with stones. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>The descent to Ses Coves is difficult.<br \/>\nBefore arriving, in the middle of the forest, you can stay to sleep. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Here you have a possible exit<\/strong> going up to the parking. <strong>You continue along the Cam\u00ed leaving the Cala en Porter<\/strong> on your left (although you can go to see it).<br \/>\nThe climb is impossible.<br \/>\nAfter a flat stretch there is a last descent to a ravine and <strong>from the pylon 6<\/strong> a last slope although smoother than the previous ones.<br \/>\nLeaving the asphalt road you go left and then right. <strong>You will reach the top of Cala en Porter<\/strong>, near the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cova-den-xoroi\/\">Coves den Xoroi<\/a>.<br \/>\nGo down to the beach. <strong>I arrived at 15.30 in Cala en Porter<\/strong>.      <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In the area of Cala en Porter you can find all kinds of services.<br \/>\nI ate something at the last beach bar near the entrance to the beach. I left in the direction of Son Bou a little before 17.00.  <strong>You head in the opposite direction of the cove.<\/strong>  To the left of the climb you will find the entrance to the path that heads towards the ravine.<br \/>\nYou pass a house, and then you have a climb that can be done because there are several curves that reduce the slope of the climb. <strong>Then the descent to the ravine for me is impossible<\/strong>.<br \/>\nYou have a climb, a flat stretch, but overall quite easy and pleasant. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In a section that can be reached by car; I met a couple who came by car from Cala En Porter (on the other side) and were looking for access to Cala Lloren\u00e7.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> After a while you come out onto a half paved road, <strong>to the left towards<\/strong> <strong>Llucalari<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe descent to the cove is criminal, honoring the cliffs and caves that can be seen from the sea. <strong>It is worth coming to swim or snorkel in Llucalari<\/strong>.<br \/>\nI only found nudists who apparently made life in the cove; although the access is not difficult you have to know it. <strong>After the ascent from Llucalari you will come out again to the asphalt<\/strong>, in Son Bou, very urbanized and with all kinds of services.      <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You have to cross all of Son Bou<\/strong>, behind the beaches on your right.<\/li>\n<li><strong>It is not very well signposted<\/strong>, so if you get lost you head to the Jardi de Menorca Hotel and go down leaving it on your right to re-enter the Cam\u00ed at the end of the descent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>From there to the beach of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/thalis\/\">Atalis<\/a> is very flat and fast<\/strong>, crossing the ravine des Bec, where in summer there are always goats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>I arrived at Atalis at 19.00 and bathed. <\/strong><strong>Behind is the finca and hotel Atalis<\/strong> (an expensive place).<br \/>\nAt 19.45 I continued by the sea to the beginning of the beaches of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-galdana-to-santo-tomas-stage-14-of-cami-de-cavalls\/\">Santo Tom\u00e1s<\/a>; you get there in 10 minutes.<br \/>\nYou can take a shower in one of the outdoor facilities of the hotels.<br \/>\nWe had dinner at the restaurant Es Pins de Santo Tom\u00e1s. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>To sleep, the beach of Atalis is quieter than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/son-bou-beach\/\">Son Bou<\/a>, where there are many hotels and apartments and of the south to go by bike<\/strong> (and therefore of all the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls).<br \/>\nProof of this is that I met cyclists in both directions, and some people on foot. them walking a little when you cross them (Trebal\u00fager twice), it is worth it.   <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>What is the disadvantage if you want to see the ravines?<br \/>\nYou have to go down them and then climb them.<br \/>\nSome climbs are almost impossible, like for example the end of Cala Mitjana, but I have seen people who do them by bike.  <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>  I&#8217;m not so good and I href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-mitjana\/\">Cala Mitjana<\/a> as the Cam\u00ed runs a bit far from the coast<\/strong>, so you leave <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-escorxada\/\">Escorxada<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-fustam\/\">Fustam<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-trebaluger\/\">Trebal\u00fager<\/a> on your left, without seeing them.    <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When you go up from Cala Mitjana, about 200 meters before leaving the asphalt, on your left there is a marked path to go to the viewpoint to see the cove from above.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>  When you get to the asphalt you go straight ahead and at the access traffic circle on the road to Ferreries turn left down to the cove.<br \/>\nIn my case I turned right to go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/es\/agroturismo-son-triay.es.html?aid=328487;label=cdc-btt;sid=0595a4218b9cf16f09d91ae26e37b5d9;dest_id=900048234;dest_type=city;dist=0;from_beach_non_key_ufi_sr=1;group_adults=2;group_children=0;hapos=1;hpos=1;no_rooms=1;room1=A%2CA;sb_price_type=total;sr_order=popularity;srepoch=1589185786;srpvid=36f33bbcc98a0030;type=total;ucfs=1hotelTmpl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Hotel Rural Son Triay<\/a>, whose detour is about 5 km further on the left. <strong>For people doing the route the other way round, from Cala Galdana to Binigaus:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>At the traffic circle at the top of the cove<\/strong>, turn left if you are coming from Ferreries, and go straight on until you reach a dead end traffic circle; the Cam\u00ed starts there.<\/li>\n<li><strong>You can also walk to Mitjana from here<\/strong>, as an alternative to the parking lot on the road from Ferreries to Galdana.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>I arrived in Cala Galdana at 10:00<\/strong>.<br \/>\nI had breakfast in a bar near the traffic circle, rested, and then went to the hotel.<br \/>\nI arrived at the hotel around 12.00 (30 minutes, it&#8217;s uphill).<br \/>\nIt was a very short day of cycling to rest.<br \/>\nSo we took advantage and went by car to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/binigaus\/\">Binigaus<\/a> (a few hours before I had been there) and had lunch on the beach.<br \/>\nThe rest of the day we rested at the hotel pool. pool<\/strong> next to the tennis court is very nice.<\/li>\n<li>Although we did not dine there <strong>the breakfast is very good <\/strong>(in the evening we went to dine at Es Barranc in Cala Son Triay to Cala Galdana, which has all kinds of services.<br \/>\nI bought water in a supermarket and headed towards <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-macarelleta\/\">Cala Macarelleta<\/a>.<br \/>\nThe access to the Cam\u00ed is on the far right side of the cove facing the sea. <strong>The first climb is a bit tough<\/strong>, then you have a very nice walk to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-macarella\/\">Cala Macarella<\/a>, mostly downhill, the last descent to the cove being very technical.<br \/>\nThe climb up the other side of Macarella and the descent to Macarelleta are impossible for me.<br \/>\nIn Macarella <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/the-9-best-beach-bars\/\"><strong>you have the famous chiringuito Susy<\/strong><\/a>You don&#8217;t eat badly and it&#8217;s not very expensive.<br \/>\nThe trip to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-en-turqueta\/\">Cala en Turqueta<\/a> is a rested 10 minutes taking fruit and continued. <strong>From Es Talaier to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/son-saura\/\">Son Saura<\/a> is similar to the previous one:<\/strong> flat near the sea and with many rocks.<br \/>\nThen you have to cross the beaches of Son Saura, as the Cam\u00ed continues on the other side.<br \/>\nIn Es Talaier and Son Saura you have public toilets. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>In Son Saura you have an exit on<\/strong> the road to the southern coves (Son Saura, Turqueta and Macarella) that leads to Ciutadella,<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>from Son Saura to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/beach-of-son-xoriguer\/\">Son Xoriguer<\/a><\/strong> the road runs along the sea and is VERY rocky.<br \/>\nHalfway you will find the Cova des Pardals:       <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To the Cova des Pardals you go down some stairs next to a small white house with red tiles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> onto a paved road before Cala Blanca<\/strong>.<br \/>\nYou have to go to the other side of the cove and continue on asphalt towards the sea to retake the Cam\u00ed.<br \/>\nYou will reach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/the-10-best-beaches-in-menorca-for-going-with-pins\/\">Santandria<\/a> in 15 minutes.<br \/>\nJust when you reach the edge of the sea, there is a possible confusion; the Cam\u00ed does not run alongside the water, it is a little inland. <strong>When you get to Santandria<\/strong>, again you have to cross the cove and go to the other side, towards the sea, pointing to the watchtower at the entrance of the cove. <strong>From Santandria to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/sa-caleta\/\">Sa Caleta<\/a> is only 10
