Changes every year)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Walking Access<\/strong>: 50 meters (2 minutes)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nearest parking<\/strong>: 50 meters (2 minutes) &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/RPdoH4aTPcSvQR899\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Parking Es Grau<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Previous Beach<\/strong>: Binillaut\u00ed<\/li>\n<li><strong>Next beach<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-en-vidrier-beach\/\">Vidrier Cove<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Is it in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cami-de-cavalls\/\">Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/a>? :<\/strong>Yes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_to_Es_Grau\"><\/span>How to get to Es Grau<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/a-que-playas-go-by-bus\/\">To get to the beach of Es Grau you can take the Bus 23<\/a> <strong>from the bus station of Ma\u00f3<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>To arrive by car<\/strong> you must first get to Ma\u00f3.   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From Ma\u00f3 you have to take the Me-7 road and then take the Me-5 towards Es Grau.<\/li>\n<li>It is very well signposted from Ma\u00f3, so it is difficult to get lost.<\/li>\n<li>To go <strong>from Ma\u00f3 to Es Grau by car is 10km and takes about 15 minutes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>You can<\/strong> also <strong>go by bike to the beach<\/strong>, especially if you want to do a stretch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/es-grau-far-favaritx-bike-btt-stage-2-cami-de-cavalls\/\">Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/a> from Es Grau.  <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Once_There%E2%80%A6\"><\/span>Once There&#8230;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  I won&#8217;t fool you, I love the beach of Es Grau mainly because it serves me as a<br \/>\n<strong>serves as a shuttle for many activities<\/strong> that can be done in the same area:   <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/menorca-in-kayak\/\"><strong>Kayak<\/strong><\/a> towards Illa den Colom or towards Fav\u00e0ritx<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sailing<\/strong> in the bay or towards Illa den Colom<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/snorkeling-in-menorca\/\"><strong>Snorkel<\/strong><\/a> in the bay of Es Grau<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cycling\/\"><strong>Cycle touring<\/strong><\/a> along the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ornithology<\/strong> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/natural-park-of-salbufera-des-grau\/\">Natural Park Albufera des Grau<\/a><\/li>\n<li> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/es-grau-far-favaritx-bike-btt-stage-2-cami-de-cavalls\/\">Hiking<\/a><\/strong> along the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls (or only up to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-en-vidrier-beach\/\">Cala Vidrier<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  As you can see, you have many options besides the option of staying on the beach to sunbathe and swim.<br \/>\nAs if that were not enough, in the area you have <strong>restaurants and bars where you can eat or drink something<\/strong>.<br \/>\nFor all these reasons, <strong>Es Grau is a beach where you can spend the whole day<\/strong>.    <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Activities_in_Es_Grau\"><\/span>Activities in Es Grau<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  I have already mentioned that you can do a lot of activities, so now we are going to specify some interesting options.  <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Visit_the_Tamarells_des_Sud_Beach_on_Foot\"><\/span>1. Visit the Tamarells des Sud Beach on Foot<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_6572\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6572\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Cam%C3%AD-de-Cavalls-hacia-Tamarells-des-Sud-P1030334.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-6572\" src=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Cam%C3%AD-de-Cavalls-hacia-Tamarells-des-Sud-P1030334-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"Cam\u00ed de Cavalls to Tamarells des Sud - P1030334\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\"\/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6572\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cam\u00ed de Cavalls to Tamarells des Sud &#8211; P1030334<\/figcaption><\/figure>  The Cam\u00ed de Cavalls of Menorca passes by the beach of Es Grau.<br \/>\nYou can walk from the parking lot of Es Grau and do<a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/es-grau-far-favaritx-bike-btt-stage-2-cami-de-cavalls\/\"> section 2 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls to the lighthouse of Fav\u00e0ritx.<\/a><br \/>\nEven if you do not reach the lighthouse,<strong> the route passes a few beaches that are worthwhile and that in summer are not <\/strong><b>crowded<\/b>.<br \/>\nIn about 20-40min (depending on the pace at which you walk) you can reach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-tamarells-sud\/\">Tamarells des Sud<\/a>, a small and very nice beach.<br \/>\nImportant: this route is much better on days when there is no north wind.      <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Visit_the_Illa_den_Colom_by_Kayak\"><\/span>2. Bike route to Fav\u00e0ritx<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_6573\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6573\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Cami-de-Cavalls-en-Bici-Fav%C3%A0ritx-a-Es-Grau-P1100455.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-6573\" src=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Cami-de-Cavalls-en-Bici-Fav%C3%A0ritx-a-Es-Grau-P1100455-800x535.jpg\" alt=\"Cami de Cavalls By Bike - Favaritx a Es Grau - P1100455\" width=\"800\" height=\"535\"\/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6573\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cami de Cavalls by Bike &#8211;
