id=\"The_Taximar\"><\/span>The Taximar<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  The Taximar is a semi-rigid zodiac of about 8 meters in length (length) with <strong>capacity for about 10 people <\/strong>plus two crew (skipper and sailor) and has life jackets for all passengers.<br \/>\nIt has a <strong>200 hp engine<\/strong>, although all the trips it makes are made at a very slow speed so that you can enjoy the most spectacular places.<br \/>\nWhen you get on the Taximar you will make an excursion of about 30 minutes in which you will be shown several caves and different coves so you can choose which one you want to stay.<br \/>\nYou have to bring everything you need for the day at the beach, but Taximar can lend you an umbrella if you need it. <strong>The best thing about Taximar is that you can make one-way or round-trip trips<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThat is, if you decide to walk to a beach and it takes you 45 minutes, and when you come back you are too lazy to walk that long, you can get on the Taxiboat when it passes by the beach where you are.<br \/>\nThe round trip costs <strong>25\u20ac for adults<\/strong> and <strong>20\u20ac for children under 14 years old<\/strong>.<br \/>\nSince 2016 they no longer offer the possibility to book the whole boat <del>for a single trip at a price of 200\u20ac.<\/del><br \/>\nIf you want to ensure a place on the Taximar it is best to call the day before and even more in advance in high season.         <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Routes\"><\/span>The Routes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  The taximar mainly operates two routes.  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Main route: <\/strong>it is between Cala Galdana and Santo Tom\u00e1s, passing by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-trebaluger\/\">Trebal\u00fager<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-fustam\/\">Fustam<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-escorxada\/\">Escorxada<\/a>.<br \/>\nThe main route is the one on days with favorable weather (you can call the day before to know what it will be the next day). <\/li>\n<li><strong>Alternative route: <\/strong>on days with unfavorable weather, it goes from Cala Galdana to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-en-turqueta\/\">Cala Turqueta<\/a> passing by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-macarella\/\">Macarella<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-macarelleta\/\">Macarelleta<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2692\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2692\" style=\"width: 590px\" departure is assigned a pick-up time after 5 hours.<br \/>\nIf you want to return before 5 hours you have to discuss it with the crew to make sure there will be availability.<br \/>\n <strong>Departures from Cala Galdana<\/strong> have a fixed schedule:     <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Departure<\/strong>: 9am &#8211; <strong>Return<\/strong>: 4pm<\/li>\n<li><strong>Departure<\/strong>: 12am &#8211; <strong>Return<\/strong>: 5pm<\/li>\n<li><strong>Departure<\/strong>: 1pm &#8211; <strong>Return<\/strong>: 6pm<\/li>\n<li><strong>Departure<\/strong>: 14am &#8211; <strong>Return<\/strong>: 7pm<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  The  <strong>departures from St. Thomas<\/strong>  are made by reservation only  <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Prices\"><\/span>Prices<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>The prices include the round trip<\/strong>.<br \/>\nSometimes I have seen people asking if they can go back and do one way, and although if the zodiac is not too full they will let you get on, it is best to call ahead to find out if there will be places.<br \/>\nIn any case, you can only reserve places for a round trip, for a one way trip &#8220;you have to take a gamble&#8221;.    <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1 person<\/strong>:
