s&#8217;Hostal<\/strong> is a place from which stone was extracted until 1994.<br \/>\nOnce its exploitation was concluded, instead of abandoning the place to the mercy of time, the association L\u00edthica rented it to give it a second chance and to prevent it from being a forgotten and abandoned place.<br \/>\nLa Pedrera has a spectacular landscape that includes a<strong> botanical garden<\/strong> and some areas where you can appreciate the mark of the manual and &#8220;automatic&#8221; extractions that were made in the stone.    <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_to_Pedreras_de_sHostal\"><\/span>How to get to Pedreras de s&#8217;Hostal<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  The quarry is located very close to the center of Ciutadella, so the first thing you have to do to get there is to<strong> go to Ciutadella<\/strong>.<br \/>\nBefore arriving to Ciutadella, you must take the detour to Cam\u00ed Vell de Ma\u00f3 (Road is plenty of information on <strong>information panels<\/strong> with drawings and photos.<br \/>\nIn addition, you can buy maps if the reception is open. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The most basic thing you should know is that<strong> there are different routes<\/strong> (all of them well marked), and that there are some <strong>colored symbols carved in stone<\/strong> that indicate certain things (danger, viewpoint, path to follow, etc).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> There is much more information about the Pedreras in the official website of L&#8217;ithica <a title=\"https:\/\/www.lithica.es\/\" from October 15 to March 23-26.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The rest of the days costs <strong>4 euros<\/strong>, <strong>2.5 euros<\/strong> for seniors over 65 years old and free for children under 10 class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  Although it may seem that there is not much to see in a quarry, the truth is that I was pleasantly surprised by the visit.<br \/>\nIt is a wonderful place, where you can see very clearly <strong>the mark of man in nature<\/strong> over the years. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It is difficult to stay less than <strong>1 or 2 hours<\/strong> if you want to
