day.<br \/>\nThe only alternatives are the <strong>Bus<\/strong> and the <strong>Taxi<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIf you want to go in summer to the island and you want to be able to visit the virgin beaches, surely you will go<br \/>\n<a title=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/playas\/virgenes\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/beaches\/unspoilt-virgin-beaches\/\">virgin beaches<\/a>, you will surely need to rent a car or a motorbike<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/car-rental\/\">rent a car<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/visit-menorca-on-a-bike-what-to-see-and-where-to-rent-a-bike-in-menorca\/\">or a motorcycle<\/a> or <a title=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/llegar-a-menorca\/en-barco\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/travel-to-menorca\/travel-boat\/\">bring your own by boat<\/a>, unless you are very sporty and intend to tour <strong>Menorca by bike<\/strong> or <a title=\"Cam\u00ed de Cavalls\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cami-de-cavalls\/\">hike along the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/a> to get to any beach.      <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bus_or_Taxi\"><\/span>Bus or Taxi?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  The <a title=\"Buses\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/buses-menorca-schedules-itineraries\/\"><strong>buses in Menorca<\/strong><\/a> have quite decent timetables, but you have to take into account that there are some <strong>summer<\/strong> and some winter <strong>timetables<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIf you decide to use the bus as main transport, you can consult some of the pages where schedules of the different lines and fares are offered:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"https:\/\/www.tmsa.es\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmsa.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">TMSA<\/a> website<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mou-tmenorca.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/mou-tmenorca.com\/\">Web of Mou-Tmenorca<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  It is assumed that the <a title=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/taxis-menorca\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/taxi-cabs-menorca\/\"><strong>cab<\/strong><\/a> is always used as a last resort, since for long trips it costs the same (or more) to take a cab than to <a title=\"Car Rental\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/car-rental\/\">rent a car<\/a>.<br \/>\nThe cabs in Menorca, until recently had the particularity of<strong> not having a taximeter<\/strong>.<br \/>\nNowadays, almost all cabs are metered.<br \/>\nTherefore, the prices of the cabs in Menorca are fixed by routes.<br \/>\nThe best thing to do is to ask the cab driver<a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/taxi-cabs-menorca\/\">(or calculate online how much any trip will cost you<\/a>) how much your trip will cost before getting into the cab, to avoid surprises.<br \/>\nHowever, a <strong>cab ride from Mah\u00f3n to Ciudadela<\/strong> does not go below 50\u20ac in summer.       <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Private_Transfers\"><\/span>Private Transfers<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  If you do not want to depend on public transportation and its schedules, you can hire private transfer services between common points of interest, such as airports, ports and urban centers.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a
