This cala, located in the north, is a bit different from those that can be found in Menorca both by the <strong>color of its sand,<\/strong>golden or red, and by the different <strong>islets that protect it from the swell.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The water of the beach is totally crystal clear when the sea is calm, and being there gives you a different feeling from other In the background you can see the car park and the restaurant<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Getting_to_Pregonda_by_Car\"><\/span>Getting to Pregonda by Car<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>To go by car<\/strong> to Pregonda <strong>you have to take from Es Mercadal the road to Fornells, and turn off towards <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/playa-de-cavalleria\/\">Cavalleria beach<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Once on the roads, it is quite easy to get there, just <b>follow the signs to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/percent-c2-percent\/\">Binimel-l\u00e0<\/a> and park in the free parking<\/b>. For more details you can consult the map at the end of the information section.<\/li>\n<li>There is a road that reaches Pregonda, but it is a private one. Therefore, the <strong>only option to reach Pregonda by car <\/strong> is driving to the the parking of Binimel\u00b7la, and then walking to Pregonda. Of course, you can reach Pregonda by boat too.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The journey to Cala Pregonda is quite hard<\/strong>, as it is about <strong>35 minutes of walking<\/strong> under the sun on rocky terrain (along the famous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cami-de-cavalls\/\"><br \/>\n  <em>Cam\u00ed de Cavalls GR-223<\/em><br \/>\n<\/a>), and some ascents and descents that can leave you K.O. at 2 o&#8217;clock in the afternoon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Get_to_Pregonda_by_Sea_in_a_Catamaran_65_E\"><\/span>Get to Pregonda by Sea in a Catamaran (65 \u20ac)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If you want to take a boat trip to Pregonda, a very good option is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.civitatis.com\/es\/menorca\/paseo-catamaran-menorca?aid=1944&amp;cmp=pregonda\">a Catamaran<\/a>. The advantages of going on a catamaran are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You don&#8217;t have to walk:<\/strong> you save 35 minutes of walking and you can go with your family without anyone complaining.<\/li>\n<li><strong>You can carry a lot more weight and equipment<\/strong>: for a snorkel fan like me, being able to bring all the equipment without loading it on foot is magnificent. You can also bring your neverita or your photography equipment \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n<li><strong>The sun gives you face<\/strong>: if you are in Pregonda sunbathing, and from noon onwards it hits you full in the back. That doesn&#8217;t happen by boat!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Once_There%E2%80%A6\"><\/span>Once There&#8230;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Once on the beach of Pregonda,<strong> there are no services of any kind,<\/strong>so it is better to bring enough water and food in case you stay several hours.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One of the peculiarities of this beach is that <strong>the sun usually hits your back from a certain time,<\/strong>which is uncomfortable for some people.<\/li>\n<li><strong>If you like snorkeling,<\/strong>it is advisable to wear a mask. This beach has it all!!
