It is far from the urbanizations and is<strong> one of the most beautiful beaches of the island<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In summer it gets quite crowded, although you can always park relatively close. It is <strong>more than 500 meters long<\/strong>, and has a width that, despite being progressively reduced, is still sufficient to accommodate a large number of people.<\/p>\n<p>In summer, and especially in the month of August, it is normal to see it quite full of tourists, as it is a <strong>very nice<\/strong> virgin beach with <strong>very good access and free road of Menorca<\/strong>, and take the detour to the beaches when you reach the signpost.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>From Ma\u00f3 it is 30km<\/strong> to the parking lot (35 minutes by car).<\/li>\n<li><strong>From Es Mercadal it is only 10km<\/strong> to the parking (15 minutes by car).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Free parking is available<\/strong> 500 meters away (see map).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"By_Bus\"><\/span>By Bus<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>There is no bus<\/strong> or regular public transport service stopping near Cavalleria beach.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Beach_Access\"><\/span>Beach Access<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The access to the beach has to be done on foot in its final stretch (about 500 meters).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The path to the beach is full of rocks<\/strong>, but you can walk without difficulty with any footwear.<\/li>\n<li>Just before reaching the sand <strong>you have to go down some wooden stairs<\/strong>, so if you are very loaded or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/the-10-best-beaches-in-menorca-for-going-with-pins\/\">with children<\/a> you have to take it into account, especially if you go with a stroller.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Once_There%E2%80%A6\"><\/span>Once There&#8230;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>The sand of the beach is coarse<\/strong> so it <strong>does not cling to the skin as much as<\/strong> the fine white sand of other beaches.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to roasting in the sun like a reptile, Cavalleria beach has in the middle of the &#8220;bay&#8221;, known as <strong>Escull de Ferragut<\/strong>, but you have to be careful because the rocky areas are often plagued by sea urchins.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The whole beach of Cavalleria is a great place to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/snorkeling-in-menorca\/\">do some snorkeling and see octopus, groupers or moray <strong>like hiking<\/strong>, you have behind you the <strong>famous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cami-de-cavalls\/\">Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/a> that takes you to <a title=\"Cala Mica\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cala-mica-beach\/\">Cala Mica<\/a><\/strong> in just 10 minutes, a beach with very few people, although not as beautiful as Cavalleria.<\/p>\n<p>I imagine there are several reasons why people don&#8217;t usually stop at Cala Mica.
