Cavalls<\/a>? :<\/strong>Yes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Son_Saura_%E2%80%93_Es_Banyuls\"><\/span>Son Saura &#8211; Es Banyuls<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  The <strong>beach of Banyuls has a length of 200 meters<\/strong> and a <strong>width of 40 meters<\/strong>, although its dimensions are not stable and change over time.<br \/>\nIt seems to me that every year there is less sand.<br \/>\nThis beach is usually emptier because of the amount of posidonia that accumulates on its shore.    <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Son_Saura_%E2%80%93_Bellavista\"><\/span>Son Saura &#8211; Bellavista<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Bellavista beach is 310 meters long<\/strong> and 40 meters wide, although I also have the impression that the sand is progressively decreasing.<br \/>\nIn both beaches there is much presence of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/posidonia-oceanica\/\">Posidonia <\/a><\/strong>(a marine plant) all year round, something that sometimes bothers tourists.<br \/>\nThere is another beach in the north of Menorca called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/arenal-de-son-saura\/\">Arenal de Son Saura<\/a>, it is important not to confuse it with the beaches of Son Saura in Ciutadella.    <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_to_Son_Saura_South\"><\/span>How to get to Son Saura (South)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>To get to Son Saura<\/strong> you have to <strong>go to Ciutadella and take the <em>Cam\u00ed de Sant Joan de Missa<\/em><\/strong> along the Ronda Sur of Ciutadella (see map).<br \/>\nOnce on the Cam\u00ed de Sant Joan de Missa, follow the signs &#8220;Son Saura&#8221; for about<strong> 12 km.<\/strong><br \/>\nEverything is very well indicated, and there are <strong>luminous signs that indicate if there are parking spaces<\/strong> available just when you take the Cam\u00ed de Sant Joan de Missa.<br \/>\nIf you see the &#8220;Full&#8221; sign, it is best to look for another beach.     <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a id=\"Free_Parking_in_Son_Saura\"><\/span>Free Parking in Son Saura<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>  The <strong>parking at Son Saura is free<\/strong>, but in summer it is usually full and sometimes no more cars are allowed.<br \/>\nFor this reason, if you want to go to Son Saura, the ideal is to get up very early, or go late in the afternoon.<br \/>\nI personally<strong> prefer to go early in the morning, to avoid encountering countless cars returning in the afternoon<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIf you go by bike or motorcycle you won&#8217;t have much of a problem.<br \/>\nIn case you have gone by car and they don&#8217;t let you pass, you can try to talk to the guard at the entrance and explain the stories you want to see if he will let you pass.      <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Once_There\"><\/span>Once There<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>  Once in Son Saura, you will see that before reaching Banyuls <strong>there are people in the shade, having picnics and chatting<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIt is quite a typical scene in Son Saura, as many local and foreign families take shelter under the shade of the trees to spend the day at the beach.<br \/>\nIf sun is your thing, you can choose between the first beach (Banyuls) and the second (Bellavista).<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t have a preference for either, since <strong>if I go to Son Saura sometime I always try to walk to <a title=\"Es Talaier\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/es-talaier\/\">Es Talaier.<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nApart from sunbathing and swimming, there is not much activity you can do on these beaches.      <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"If_you_snorkel_you_may_see_rays\"><\/span>If you snorkel you may 4m <\/strong><b>deep<\/b> <strong>. <\/strong> <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In summer (July and August) it is a bit more complicated because it is quite crowded with boats, but <strong>I always see a stripe whenever I go there.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"You_can_reach_Es_Talaier_on_foot\"><\/span>You can reach Es Talaier on foot.<span title=\"Cam\u00ed de Cavalls\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cami-de-cavalls\/\">Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/a><\/strong>, which passes behind Son Saura and reaches Es Talaier.<br \/>\nYou can also try to reach the <a title=\"Virgin Coves and Beaches in the South of Menorca\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/unspoilt-beaches-south-menorca\/\">Talaia d&#8217;Artrutx<\/a>, a
