href=\"http:\/\/www.menorcabiosfera.org\/Contingut.aspx?IdPub=7393\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Punta Nati can only be accessed by bus<\/a> during sunset hours (Residents can access).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>There are 2 outbound buses (20.00 and 20.30) and 2 return buses (21.45, 22.15): The bus schedule will be moved forward 15 minutes as the sunset is moved forward as well.<\/li>\n<li>Bus tickets will cost 4\u20ac (round trip) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bus.e-torres.net\/es\/tickets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">can be purchased online<\/a> and at the Ciutadella Bus stop<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/BdDH6iJNnPBJgFft7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">(parking<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>The bus ride takes about 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Punta Nati lighthouse <\/strong>is the closest to the center of Ciudadela of all the lighthouses in Menorca (with the exception of Sa Farola).<\/p>\n<p>For me it is one of the best places in Menorca to watch the <a title=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/tag\/puestas-de-sol\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/the-5-best-best-sun-lounges-in-menorca\/\">sunset<\/a>. This lighthouse was built in 1912 to prevent the constant shipwrecks that occurred on the north coast of Ciudadela.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_time_should_I_arrive_so_as_not_to_miss_the_sunset\"><\/span>What time should I arrive so as not to miss the sunset?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to see the sunset from the magnificent Punta Nati lighthouse, <strong>it is important that you take into account the timetables<\/strong>, otherwise you will miss the sunset (it happens to many more people than you think).<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Check the sun<\/strong> set time (you can check it in Google, or in any weather App).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calculate the time it will take you to get there by car or motorcycle<\/strong> (you can <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/mEdC6iCbN55S2cE67\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">check<\/a> it <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/mEdC6iCbN55S2cE67\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">on Google Maps<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Try to <strong>arrive at Punta Nati parking lot at least 30 minutes before sun<\/strong>set time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The reason why you have to arrive 30 minutes early to the parking lot is that you will have to walk about 10-15 minutes on the last stretch of road, and then you will have to walk another 5-10 minutes through the rocks.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_to_Punta_Nati\"><\/span>How to get to Punta Nati<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"By_Car_Motorcycle_or_Bike\"><\/span>By Car, Motorcycle or Bike<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>It can be reached by<strong> a spectacular road<\/strong> both by <strong>car and by bike<\/strong>. The path starts at one of the traffic circles on the road leading to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/best-urbanizations-in-menorca-accommodation\/\">urbanizations of Cala en Blanes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Once you take the turnoff to the lighthouse (marked <strong>Punta Nati<\/strong>) the road is two-way but incredibly narrow with two bike lanes on a fairly long stretch. No matter how much summer it is, <strong>don&#8217;t forget to take a sweater or windbreaker almost always<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Punta Nati is at the mercy of the wind, and on strong Tramuntana days being there in short sleeves can be unbearable.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>At night you can also visit the lighthouse to see the stars<\/strong>. The lighthouse is in a location far enough away from any city or urbanization to avoid light pollution, so on a clear day the stars can be seen clearly and in abundance. Going to Punta Nati at night without a sweater is almost reckless.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hiking_from_the_Lighthouse\"><\/span>Hiking from the Lighthouse<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Did you know that <strong>the Punta Nati Lighthouse is in the middle of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorcadiferente.com\/en\/cami-de-cavalls\/\">Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/a><\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>That means that from the lighthouse you can start walking around Menorca until you get tired. <strong>If you want to do a fun stage<\/strong>, I recommend the one that goes from <a title=\"Calespiques a Punta Nati - Section 10 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls\"
