Menorca is a tourist destination with lots of hotels. In the months of June, July, August and September, the number of hotels open on the island exceeds 100 establishments. This number of hotels allows to accommodate approximately between 22,000 and 28,000 tourists. Since Menorca has a population of around 90,000 inhabitants, the different hotels on the island can accommodate almost 30% of the residents.
