In November 2009, the Consell Insular de Menorca presented the first Camí de Cavalls Guide (GR-223) of Menorca.
Over the years several independent guides about the Camí de Cavalls have been published in paper and digital format.

About the 2009 Official Guide
The official guide of the Camí was intended to be a tool to help residents and tourists interested in learning about the paths that surround the island of Menorca. The Camí de Cavalls Guide has 180 pages and 14 chapters in which everything related to the Camí de Cavalls and its heritage and landscape value is explained in detail. In the last two chapters you can find information about the routes of the Camí, the difficulties of each route, the peculiarities, etc.
If you are looking for specific information about the Camí de Cavalls, you are likely to be disappointed, since most of its content is general information of tourist interest.
The information on the Camí is limited to about twenty pages that provide information on 20 sections of the Camí de Cavalls and their difficulty for walking them.

In addition to the Camí de Cavalls Guide, there is another guide from Editorial Alpina with hiking and mountain biking routes along the Camí de Cavalls (Gr-223). This guide has been on sale since February 2011 and is having a lot of success in the Balearic Islands and Catalonia. Where can you buy the Official Guide?
The Camí de Cavalls Guide can be purchased from November 27, 2009 in the bookstores of Menorca and in the Tourist Information Offices at a price of 21 Euros per copy, although some bookstores are sold out. Guide 2016 Camí de Cavalls: 15 Circular Itineraries
In January 2016, GOB Menorca announced the publication of a new guide for hikers about the Camí de Cavalls. The guide is entitled “Camí de Cavalls: 15 Circular Itineraries.“. The interesting thing about this new guide is that it is specially designed for people who want to make small circular tracks (with start and end in the same place) along the Camí de Cavalls. This makes it much easier to make excursions since you don’t have to think about how to get back to the point of origin.
