Visit Beaches by Bus
Última actualización: 03/04/2016
Menorca is a small island and it’s easy to move around with public transportation. The public bus line communicates pretty well both the two main villages (Maó and Ciutadella) and the most turistic areas of the island.
The main problem when using public transportation is that by bus you cannot reach all the virgin calas of Menorca. This doesn’t mean that it’s not possible to go to beautiful beaches by bus. As you will see now, you have good alternatives to forget about renting a car and to explore the different beaches without your own vehicle.
Below you have a list of the beaches which you can visit by bus. I have ordered them following my own criteria. I hope you like it and you can enjoy the best beaches of Menorca. Remember not to leave rubish on the beach and try to preserve the nature!
Son Saura and Es Talaier
Son Saura is a beautiful and popular beach located in the south coast of Menorca. Those who look for something more spectacular can walk a few minutes until Es Talaier and enjoy the clear waters.
- You can get there by taking the bus line 66 from Ciutadella

Algaiarens beach or La Vall, is famous for appearing in the Estrella Damm commercial of 2010. Is a beautiful virgin beach in the north of Menorca. The bus will drop you off at 5-10 minutes walking from the beach.

Cala Galdana and Cala Mitjana
Cala Galdana is a good beach to go with the family, loungers, any kind of activities, restaurants, etc. in one of the most tourist areas of Menorca.
