Restaurants in Menorca to go with children

In Menorca there are many restaurants of great quality.
Next to the beach or the port, they usually eat very well. In addition most of them are adapted to go with children, since the family tourism is one of the most important of the island.
Nevertheless, I will highlight a few that I like especially, that I have tried with my family and where we have been very comfortable, although sometimes they do not appear in the most popular tourist guides.

Restaurants in Ciutadella
Balearic Coffee
A classic of the port of Ciutadella.
To eat tapas or plate, the star are the fish and rice.
A little expensive, but very rich everything.
There are high chairs and place for the stroller.
And an outside terrace next to the port from where the children are very entertained watching the boats go by and the enormous fish that come to ask for food.
They do not make reservations and it is always better to go early.

Pizzeria Corallo
A restaurant in the port of Ciutadella that surprised us for good. The place itself is normal, but the pizzas they make are very tasty and handmade.
The children are made in the shape of characters and it goes without saying that they come out happy.
If they have any leftovers they can throw some pieces to the fish in the harbor 😉 It is a good option to dine well priced in the port of Ciutadella.

Restaurants with Children’s Area
Sa Torreta
A simple but charming restaurant, located in the urbanization Los Delfines (just below the arch), about 10 minutes drive from Ciutadella.
They make crepes (very good and original), pizzas, sandwiches… They have high chairs and plastic plates and cutlery for children.
And the best thing, a big area with a blackboard, toys, bicycles and a table where the kids have a great time while you have a drink after dinner.

Restaurant ca n’Emilio
In the avenue of the racecourse of Torre del Ram, next to the Top Market.
We have never been there to eat, but if you are in the area and you feel like having a drink, do not hesitate to choose this place over any other.
They have trampolines, ball pool, slide, castle… and all free for customers.

Where to Have a Drink with Kids
La Margarete
If you are one of those who find it hard to give up the nightlife, at the Margarete you can have your first drink in a beautiful walled garden with lawn, while the children run around.

Bar Imperi
Bar Imperi is one of the most famous places in Ciutadella.
If you have older children perhaps you can go to the outdoor terrace and enjoy good sandwiches and a drink for the older ones.

Chiringuito Es Bruc
A chiringuito at the foot of the beach between Santo Tomás and Binigaus, in the area of the south.
You can have fish dishes, tapas and rice dishes.
They have high chairs and the older children can play on the beach.
To find table, better to go in infantile schedule.

Chiringuito Binimel-là
It is not next to the beach, but you won’t find anything else to have a drink around.
It is located in a perfect garden, with shade and lawn for children to play.
Ideal for lunch before the beach or to have a drink and cool off after a day in the sun.

Sa Nacra Cave
The Chiringuito de Cova Sa Nacra is surely my favorite both with children and as a couple.
The children have the advantage of being able to swim in the sea if the weather is good and you can see them from the table at all times.
The sardines, the squid in Menorcan style, or the tapas in general are very good.

And for Dessert…
Sa Gelateria: delicious ice creams and lemon slushies.
They are in Ciutadella (Cathedral square, Born square and port) and also in Maò.
They don’t have tables, only the typical Menorcan chairs placed in the street to sit in a circle and chat with friends while the children run around with their ice creams.
