One of the star activities of the summer in Menorca is to contemplate the sunsets over the sea.

The sunset is a very relaxing activity and you can go to see it as a family, as a couple or with friends.

It’s free, short and doesn’t break up your day as you can do things before and after sunset!

Although from many points of the coast you can see beautiful sunsets, these 5 that I show you below are for me the 5 best sunsets you can see in Menorca.

1. Cavalleria Lighthouse

The sunset from the cliffs of the Cavalleria lighthouse is a real scandal.
Combinations of colors on a flat sea through which from time to time a sailboat or a small motorboat parades.

From the cliffs you can see La illa des Porros in the middle of the sea, piles of stones piled up by visitors (it is a bad practice), wild vegetation weathered by the intense tramuntana wind….
Every time I go there I am speechless.

Punta Nati Lighthouse

The Punta Nati lighthouse is not far behind in the competition with the Cavalleria lighthouse.

• Sa Falconera: Viewpoint in the middle of the Camí de Cavalls towards Punta Nati.
  You have to bring shoes, windbreaker and flashlight to return.
• Hello Ola: Chiringuito in Cala Blanca.
  You can’t see the setting over the sea but it’s nice.
• Ivette Beach ClubYou will not see the sunset over the sea, but it is a nice place with a view over the bay.
• Bamboo Menorca: Very nice restaurant/chiringuito where you can watch the sunset, although it will not be over the sea.
• PaupaA little corner in Cala Torret with sea views and a relaxed atmosphere.
  The kitchen is open from 1pm to 11pm.
• Pindapoi: A bar of drinks and juices in front of the port of Maó.
  I haven’t been there for 3 years, but I remember it very pleasant.
• Eolo Chillout – Sunset Bar: cocktail bar very close to the Pont d’en Gil, and overlooking the sea, which opened in July 2021.
  I have not been able to go there yet.
• Artrutx Sea ClubRestaurant at the Artrutx Lighthouse opened in May 2022.
  Very good offer of food and drinks and incredible views in front of the sea.
