Sa Farola Beach – Cala des Frares

The beach of Sa Farola, also known as Cala des Frares, is a tiny cove located very close to the port of Ciutadella.
It is a very very small beach with hardly any sand space for towels.
Most of the bathers use the concrete platforms built around the sea.
This beach is very well protected from the wind, so the water is always calm.
In addition, from 2021 the entry of boats to this area has been banned.
It has been a drastic measure to protect the posidonia meadows on the seabed in the area.
If you end up on this beach, it is most likely because you are walking along the magnificent Paseo de Sa Farola, which connects Ciutadella with Cala en Blanes along the coast.

Freedive Menorca – Enjoy the crystal clear water of Menorca freediving

Freedive Menorca is the first freediving school in Menorca.
Valeria and Adam are the two instructors who run this school.
If you join any activity of Freedive Menorca, something I recommend you, you can learn how to freedive and you can also discover incredible corners of Menorca.
If you have never freediving and you have 2 or 3 days, my recommendation is to do the freediving course level 1.
If you only have 1 day, I definitely recommend you to do the Freediving Baptism.
It is incredible how much you can learn and improve just with this course.
I say this from experience :), I managed to improve a lot with the Level 1 course and hold + 2 minutes underwater.
