Sa Mesquida

The sand of Sa Mesquida is quite white and fine and reminds of the virgin beaches of the south.
During the summer and especially during the month of August it is a very frequented beach, although not as much as those in the south.
It is 300 meters long and there is plenty of sandy space for bathers, so it is usually quite well on the sand, as the parking space for cars is limited.

How to get to Sa Mesquida
Getting to Sa Mesquida by car is very easy:
- From Maó you have to drive the 8 km along the Me-3 road until you reach Sa Mesquida.
It takes about 10 minutes. - If you come from Ciutadella… think twice, as you have to cross the whole island to Maó and then take the Me-3 road to Sa Mesquida.
The beach is nice, but you have 1 hour by car and in that time you can reach almost any beach in Menorca!
Once There
Sa Mesquida is quite a good beach for those who enjoy swimming in the sea.
As it is quite protected and boats are not allowed to anchor close to the shore, the space available for bathers is very large.
Snorkeling in Sa Mesquida
If you like snorkeling you are also in luck.
This beach has rocky bottoms and quite deep.
There is an area where it is common the presence of divers (with bottoms up to 40 meters deep).
