Trail Menorca Camí de Cavalls

The Trail Menorca Camí de Cavalls is a sporting event that was first held in May 2012. The organizers of this race are 5 sports-loving friends whose vision is to take Menorca to the international scene in the ultra-trail world.
In addition to having the privilege of running through a land declared as Biosphere Reserve,participants can practice sport by touring the famous Camí de Cavalls,which surrounds the whole island along its coast. In case this was not enough, there are races suitable for all types of runners:the shortest of 25 Km, and the longest, which goes around Menorca, of 185 kilometers.

Trail Camí de Cavalls
The most important race of the Trail Camí de Cavalls. Turn around Menorca, departing from Ciutadella. The maximum time to complete the 185 kilometers route, and overcome a positive slope of 2863 meters is 52 hours.
Trail Nord
The second race of the Trail. It also departs from Ciutadella, but the end of the race is located in Maó, touring the north coast of Menorca. The maximum time to complete the 94 kilometers and overcome a positive slope of 1796 meters is 24 hours.
The route of this race passes through magical places of Menorca such as Pont den Gil,and beaches as beautiful as Cala Pregonda and Cala Cavallería.
Trail Costa Sud
The third race of the Trail. It also departs from Ciutadella, but the end of the race is located in Maó, touring the south coast of Menorca. The maximum time to complete the 94 kilometers and overcome a positive slope of 1796 meters is 24 hours.
The tour passes through all the famous beaches of the south coast of Menorca: Son Saura, Es Talaier, Turqueta, Macarella and even Trebalúger (it does not pass through Escorxada though). A dream tour of the best of the unspoiled beaches of the south of the island.
Trekking Costa Nord (only in 2012)
A race for those who do not dare with the ultra marathons. The maximum time to complete the 46 kilometers and overcome a positive slope of 1071 meters is 8 hours.
The route is the same as the Trail Nord, but ends at Cala Tirant.
Trekking Costa Sud
Another race for those who do not dare with the 100 kilometers races. The maximum time to complete the 43 kilometers and overcome a positive slope of 529 meters is 8 hours.
The route is the same as the Trail Nord, but ends at Cala en Porter.
