Mount Toro
Última actualización: 20/08/2024

Some say that the name of the mountain comes from the legend according to which in the mountain there was a bull that prevented anyone from approaching the top.
The reality is that the name comes from the Roman root “Tor”. From the Toro it is possible to see almost all of Menorca and even Mallorca when the day is clear.
At the top is the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Monte Toro, which was built over a Gothic church around 1670.
You can also see the television signal repeaters, which spoil the beautiful scenery from the top.
