Bus or Taxi?
The buses in Menorca have quite decent timetables, but you have to take into account that there are some summer and some winter timetables.
If you decide to use the bus as main transport, you can consult some of the pages where schedules of the different lines and fares are offered:
- TMSA website
- Web of Mou-Tmenorca
It is assumed that the cab is always used as a last resort, since for long trips it costs the same (or more) to take a cab than to rent a car.
The cabs in Menorca, until recently had the particularity of not having a taximeter.
Nowadays, almost all cabs are metered.
Therefore, the prices of the cabs in Menorca are fixed by routes.
The best thing to do is to ask the cab driver(or calculate online how much any trip will cost you) how much your trip will cost before getting into the cab, to avoid surprises.
However, a cab ride from Mahón to Ciudadela does not go below 50€ in summer.
