The beach of Son Xoriguer is in the urbanization of Son Xoriguer, very close to the marina of Cala en Bosch.
Son Xoriguer is a beach very frequented by tourists and families for its extreme ease of access, so if you are looking for tranquility and exclusive coves it is clear that this is not your place.
In this beach you will be able to realize quite a lot of aquatic activities, since there are businesses oriented to tourists at the foot of the beach.

How to get to Son Xoriguer

You can get to Son Xoriguer from Ciutadella by car, motorcycle or bicycle in a very easy way.
Simply take the road that leads to the lighthouse of Cap Artrutx, and once you see the signs for Cala en Bosch or Son Xoriguer, follow them until you reach the free parking (there are 3 parking areas along the beach, that’s why there are always so many people).

 

Once There…

If you are on the beach of Son Xoriguer is that you have probably opted for comfort and do not mind too many people and tourists, so the best you can do is enjoy the sun and sea, and maybe some diving.
You also have restaurants and services of all kinds if you feel like eating or having an ice cream.

The Flyboard is a rigid platform connected to a jet ski that allows you to float on the water and move forward in the air.

Take an excursion through the CdC to the Cova des Pardals

If what you want is something different, I recommend 100% that you start walking along the Camí de Cavalls towards Cala Parejals and the Cova des Pardals.

• Cala Parejals is a small cove where there is almost never any sand, and even if there is, there is only room for a couple of people (hence the name: pareja – parejals).

Once you have passed over Cala Parejals (the Camí de Cavalls passes over Parejals), you will arrive at the Cova des Pardals.
This cavewas built by the former owner of the house so that he could sail his boat into the house.
I have no sources on the matter but more than once I have heard that smuggling was common thanks to this small jetty.
