Cas Cònsol Restaurant

Cas Cònsol is a restaurant located in the Plaza es Born whose terrace offers spectacular views of the entire port of Ciudadela.
Housed in a building of the XiX century, Cas Cònsol was the home of the French consul for about 20 years, until the 60s.
As you can see in the photo, which shows a table on the terrace of the restaurant, the feeling is of hanging in the middle of the harbor.
To get there you only have to go to the center of Ciudadela and park in the Plaza es Born.

Cala en Turqueta

Cala Turqueta is for many the most beautiful cove of the island, with permission of Cala Pregonda.
It is a small beach of blue waters with white sandy bottom surrounded by pine trees.
The name Turqueta comes from the color of the water, reminiscent of the clearest and most crystalline turquoise.
To get to Cala Turqueta you have to take the Camí de Sant Joan de Missa from Ciudadela and follow the signs.
Once you arrive at the parking, you are only about 10 minutes away from a paradisiacal beach, which illustrates many postcards of the island.

Buses

Buses in Menorca have quite flexible timetables.
In the map above you can see the different lines that operate during the summer.
The bus is the cheapest alternative within the public transport, but for the tourists who want to know the island and visit beaches and areas of interest with total flexibility, it is quite insufficient.
If you are interested in traveling by bus, the best thing to do is to take with you a map with station schedules and itineraries and plan your routes to coincide with those of the buses.
In any case, to get to the virgin beaches they will not be of great help.
