Binigaus
Última actualización: 20/08/2024

It is a virgin beach of the south zone, quite popular and of easy access both on foot and by bicycle.
The sand of Binigaus, as it could not be otherwise being in the south, is white and fine, and the color of the sea is the characteristic turquoise blue.
When the wind blows from the south, as it is a very open beach, you can see a considerable swell.
There are no services of any kind in Binigaus, but it is possible to approach in about 10 or 15 minutes to the beach of Santo Tomás, right next to this one, to buy refreshments and food.
Over the years Binigaus has cyclically lost a lot of sand.
Keep this in mind, as there may be less space than you imagine for planting towels.
In 2022 Binigaus recovered much of the sand it had lost during previous years.

Hotels near Binigaus
If you want to be near Binigaus and its neighboring coves Escorxada and Fustam, there is a rural hotel that I personally love and that I can’t stop recommending:
- The Rural Hotel Binigaus Vell is an old country house in an area of Menorca ideal for nature lovers.
It has only 20 rooms available and is within walking distance of the Cova des Coloms and the unspoilt beach of Binigaus.
