Torralba d’en Salord (or Salort) is a prehistoric Talayotic settlement near Cala en Porter, in Alaior. The origin of this settlement is between 1700 and 1400 BC. Although the settlement is in poor condition, the sanctuary and the Taula, which is about 4m high, are perfectly preserved. The Taula de Torralba d’en Salord is one of the best preserved in Menorca. During the excavation of the settlement, remains of a bonfire, wine amphorae and some objects used in rituals were found, suggesting that the site was dedicated to worship (the objects are on display at the Museum of Menorca):
