Calespiques
Última actualización: 03/12/2020
CalesPiques is a very small urban beach within the Urbanization Calan Blanes/Los Delfines. It is a very narrow and west facing beach that is usually frequented by people who stay or live around.
The main attraction of this beach, which is not one of the most beautiful in Menorca precisely, is that around you can make many plans both as a family, as a couple and with friends:
- Water parks, sunsets, excursions in the Camí de Cavalls, Padel, etc.

By Bus
CalesPiques is one of the beaches of Menorca that can be reached by Bus.
- Bus line 61 departs from Ciutadella.
By Car, Motorcycle or Bike
To get to CalesPiques you have to go to Ciutadella.
From Ciutadella, you have to follow the signs to Cala en Blanes, and once you see the posters of Los Delfines, follow them.
- The beach is adjacent to the Jimmy Hillsresort.
- Free parking is available for about 50 vehicles around the beach access.
A Pie by the Camí de Cavalls
The Camí de Cavalls passes through the calesPiques car park.
- If you are going around Menorca by the Camí de Cavalls, and you come from The North, you will pass by Punta Nati and the Pont d’en Gil before reaching CalesPiques.
- If you come from Ciutadella, you will pass by the promenade of Sa Farola and Cala in Blanes, and then you will have to travel the straight that leads to Los Delfines before meeting CalesPiques.

Once There
CalesPiques is in full urbanization, so you have plenty of leisure options especially if you’re traveling as a family.
- In addition to being able to rent a sun lounger or have a drink in the tiny bar-beach bar, there are a few short activities that you can do less than 5 minutes from the beach.
Have fun with the Kids at the Aqua Center
If you have young children and want to combine a visit to this beach with a visit to the AquaPark, you can hire the transfer pack + ticket to the AquaCenter of Los Delfines.
Have a Chocolate Or Nutella Crepe at Jimmy Hills
The Jimmy Hills Tourist Complex, about 15 meters from the CalesPiques carpark, has a crepe stand that Dario has been carrying for more than 10 years. For me are the best dark chocolate pancakes or Nutella that you can try in Ciutadella.
- I have ever bought a fruit or beverage smoothie and brought them to see the sunset at Pont d’en Gil.
Visit the Famous Pont d’en Gil
An almost must if you come to CalesPiques is the Pont d’en Gil. It is a natural suspension bridge over the sea.
- You can bathe in the Pont d’en Gil area, but I do not recommend it with children, as access to the sea is complicated by rocky terrain, and the exit of the sea is also somewhat difficult.
Play Padel with Sea Views
Very close to CalesPiques you have the Padel slopes of the Hotel Farragut. They’re paddle tracks that are literally over the sea.
