Triton Bar is one of the most well known restaurants of the Ciutadella port, in Menorca, where you can eat a great variety of meals as well as “tapas”. Every summer night, the bar is filled with tourists who seek the typical Mediterranean food at an affordable price.

It has one of the best terraces with beautiful views to the port, and that is why in summer large queues are formed; you will probably have to wait at least 30 minutes to enjoy a dinner in the terrace.

The Menu

Among its variety of meals and tapas, their most popular ones are “chipirones”, octopus cooked at Galician way, fried fish, “pilotes” (much  better than meatballs) and squid.

Personally, I love stopping at bar Triton before going to the beach to pick a sandwich of “pilotes” (meatbals) to take away. I also like end the party nights in the port with a cheese hamburger.

Around 5 in the morning, the bar opens its doors for the fishermen who start their journey and for those who go home after partying stopping first at the Triton to pick up a sandwich.

How to get there

From anywhere of the island, you have to take the principal road to Ciutadella. Once you get to the centre, you can park your car in Es Born square or in the surroundings as in summer it is quite difficult to park in the centre at night.

Arriving to the Bar Triton is very easy if you are in Ciutadella, you just have to go down to the port by one of the multiple accesses (my recommendation is to take the ramp where the Firac is).
