Markets and Fairs – 2025
Última actualización: 15/11/2024

Important Note: Some dates or locations may have changed. If you want to be completely sure, you can check the official information from the CAIB (So far, nothing has been published for 203). One of the most appreciated activities by tourists in Menorca are the artisan markets. In Menorca, you can visit a multitude of markets and fairs, some in summer and others in winter, where you can buy all kinds of artisanal products and typical island foods. Each municipality has its established dates for the markets, although many of them coincide on the same day during the summer. It is important to confirm with the locals or a tourist information office the dates of the markets, as they are not permanent and may change date or location from time to time. Here is the list of markets and fairs by municipality, updated at the end of 2013:

Hi
We are coming to Menorca 19th January 2018. Are there many restaurants and cafes open in the larger towns of Mahon and Cuitadella? I understand the coastal towns are all shut but hopefully the larger towns still cater for tourism?
Thank you
Hi Sally,
Yes, in Maò and Ciutadella there will be plenty of restaurants and cafes open.
Take into account that Maò and Ciutadella are cities with 30.000 pople living in each of them (aprox), so they will have services for those people.
Many hotels and restaurants though will be closed as you get out from these major cities.
I want some curtains from the market, which market will I get some from and what day please
Thank you so much – very much appreciated!
