Walking along Carretera de Sa Farola from Cala en Blanes to Ciutadella Ciutadella residents have the luxury of having the old road linking Cala en Blanes to Ciutadella: the Sa Farola promenade. This road was massively discontinued when the new one was built, and for a while it was in very bad condition. In 2008 the road refurbishment work was completed. The result was the magnificent Sa Farola promenade, a road with a two-way bike lane, and a lane for cars.
The promenade allows you to reach Cala en Blanes along the coast.
