30 Viewpoints with the Best Views of Menorca

Menorca is an island with spectacular landscapes around its entire coast and also in some of the points on the rural areas.

If during your activities you want to enjoy the best panoramic views and the best landscapes here you have a list with 30 viewpoints distributed throughout the island.

Cavalleria Lighthouse Viewpoint (Natural)

The viewpoint of the Cavalleria Lighthouse is spectacular and accessible to all audiences. Every day there are people who come to see the sunsets, but you can also go at any hour of the day to enjoy the views of the highest cliffs of Menorca.

To get to this area you have to walk between 5 and 10 minutes on paths with quite a few rocks, but without much difficulty.

  • Hazard: 4/5 (beware of children when you are near the cliffs)
  • Views:Sea views from above the cliffs

Algendar Ravine Viewpoint (Natural)

The excursion to the viewpoint of the ravine of algendar is 8km round trip and allows you to see a very different landscape than you can find anywhere else in Menorca.

To get there you have to walk about 1h and 30min (4km one way)

  • Views: Views of the vertical walls of the Algendar ravine

Pregonda Reef Viewpoint (Natural)

The Viewpoint in Escull de Pregonda (Pregonda Reef) is probably the most difficult to access in all of Menorca. You can only reach by boat or swimming from Cala Pregonda (to get to Cala Pregonda you have to walk about 35 minutes).

In Cales Coves there is a viewpoint with spectacular views of the entire Cales Coves beach area. You can walk along the path that borders the cove in about 5 minutes.

Macarelleta Viewpoint (Natural)

From both Macarella and Macarelleta you can access the viewpoints on each side of the cliffs. From the viewpoint of Macarelleta you can see Cala Macarella, and from the Mirador de Macarella you can see Cala Macarelleta.

To reach the viewpoint of Macarelleta you have to walk about 10 minutes from Macarelleta. To get to the Mirador de Macarella you have to walk about 10 minutes from Macarella.

Albufera d’es Grau Viewpoints (Natural)

In the area of The Albufera d’es Grau there are viewpoints on several walking tours. From the viewpoints, although they are not very high, you can observe birds in a unique and protected natural environment.

Cala Morell Viewpoint (Urban)

The viewpoint of Cala Morell is accessed by walking from the Camí de Cavalls that passes through Cala Morell. You have to deviate a few meters (2-5 minutes) and go towards the cliffs to have the views of the beach and the urbanization.

Cala Galdana Viewpoint (Urban)

The viewpoint of Cala Galdana is about 15 minutes walking distance from the famous beach of Galdana. From this viewpoint with benches you can see the wonderful landscape of the bay and observe the incredible turquoise color of the water from a different perspective.

Binidalí Viewpoint (Urban)

The Binidalí viewpoint is right next to a roundabout that allows access to the cars. Once you get out of the car you only have to walk 1 or 2 minutes along the cliffs, to anywhere you want because the views are the same from anywhere.
