Accessible Beaches with Reduced Mobility

In Menorca there are a total of 10 beaches prepared for people with Reduced Mobility.
This means that people with mobility problems can go to these beaches and be assisted by members of the Red Cross.
Do not expect to be able to visit the best virgin coves of the island if you have mobility problems, since all the adapted beaches are in urbanized areas.
The services offered are:

• Lifeguards watching over the bathing area
• Beach access walkways
• Amphibious wheelchairs that allow people without mobility to enter the water (the chairs float) and adapted bathrooms.
  The amphibious chair service has schedules for each beach.

Each beach has different services and schedules. You can consult the tables below, where you can see which services each beach has and the days of the month during which they are offered. If you want to go to one of these beaches and want to make sure you can access without problems is to call the Red Cross or a tourist information office.
The information has been updated in November 2018, but there is no new data since 2016, so it may be that there are changes and we do not know.

12. Binibèquer (Sant Lluís)

25 Wheelchair-Ready Hotels in Menorca

In Menorca there are some hotels adapted for wheelchairs in several towns.
Ciutadella and Maò are the ones with the largest offer of this type of accommodation, but you can find up to 25 scattered around the island.
