Talis
Última actualización: 20/08/2024
The small cove of Talis, also known as Atalis, is a sandy beach about 20 meters long usually frequented by nudists.
This cove is located between the wonderful beaches of Son Bou and Santo Tomás, so it is not usually very crowded even in high season, because in Talis there are no services of any kind and instead Son Bou and Santo Tomás have parking, hotels, beach bars and all kinds of amenities.
The orientation and shape of this cove make it very exposed to southerly winds.
If you are going to Talis try to avoid days when the wind blows from the south, as you may encounter a lot of swell and some currents in the water.

How to get to Talis
Getting to Talis is only possible on foot or by boat.
If you go on foot you will have to leave your car either in one of the Santo Tomás parking lots or in the Son Bou parking lot.
- From Santo Tomás you will have to walk 15 minutes (0.6km) along the Camí de Cavalls.
- From Son Bou you will have to walk about 40 minutes (2.5km) along the Camí de Cavalls, which coincides with the beach of Son Bou.
The access to the Camí de Cavalls from Santo Tomás is on the left side of the beach (facing the sea), and it is very well indicated.
If you go from Son Bou you simply have to go to the right (facing the sea) until the beach of Son Bou ends and the beach of Talis begins (they are divided by a small wall).
Once There
Talis is a cove that has no services, no lifeguard, no bathrooms.
Its main attraction is that it is located between 2 large tourist areas and that it is “passing through” the Camí de Cavalls, so sometimes hikers simply stop in this cove to rest.
This means that in addition to practicing a bit of snorkeling (although there is not much to see here either), if you have come here taking advantage of the Camí de Cavalls you have the option to finish your excursion eating at a beach bar. My favorite plan is to leave the car in the parking lot of Santo Tomás, go to Talis, and on the way back eat in the beach bars of Santo Tomás.
After lunch you can go to Binigaus, and if you are in a good mood and in the mood for sport you can even try to go to Escorxada.
